"He's not"

Porsche's sudden statement shifted all the attention on him. He could feel Kinn's gaze on his face, but didn't dare to raise his head.

"He's not what?" Kim asked by his side.

"Infertile"

"And how would you know?" Tawan sneered, the remark of the omega annoyed him enough to look up. Everybody was looking at him with confusion, except for Korn who seemed rather intrigued.

Kinn was staring at him with a frown.

That made him gulp. Panic started to swell in his throat. He knew there would be no coming back from it. Once he told them the truth, he'd have to face everything, the situation with Kinn, "them".

He'd might not want to keep "them" but he was not a monster. The fetuses were babies now and if his doctor were right, they wouldn't survive the first months without Kinn's pheromones.

He sighed.

"I know because I'm pregnant"

The silence that followed was deafening. Even the grasshoppers singing in the bushes of the terrace became quiet.

Suddenly, Tawan burst out laughing.

"That's the best yet!" he said between laughter.

"Phi?" Porchay asked with incomprehension written all over his face.

Porsche didn't dare to look at Kinn.

"Wait..." Tankhun interjected "If you say Kinn is not infertile and you're pregnant, do you mean you're pregnant by him?"

"But aren't you a beta?" Kim asked almost at the same time.

"Yes" Porsche answered to both.

"For real?" Kim insisted.

"Yes"

"Real, real?" Tankhun added.

"Yes"

"I knew it!!!" Tankhun jumped for joy. "I knew something was going on between you two! Guys, I won the bet!"

"Not now" Kim glared at his brother.

"Bullshit!" Tawan shouted. "This man is a liar or he deceived all of you! Pretending to be a beta when he was an omega all along!"

"He's not a liar!" Porchay defended him.

"Did you take suppressants to fool us all?!" The omega's rage seemed unstoppable. He was so loud he drowned out the bruhaha of the whole table "Kinn! Will you let him disrespect us like this?!"

By then, Kinn was staring at Porsche with an expression of betrayal.

It hurt. Porsche's heart clenched, followed by little pushes inside of him.

Of course, he's doubting his honesty.

Stupid mate.

"We all know Porsche is no liar" Pete intervened.

"He's right, explain yourself Porsche" Vegas added.

Porsche figured it was time to drop the bomb.

"The doctors said Kinn is my true mate" he declared then continued, ignoring the gasps "That's why I was able to conceive. And I did not lie" he added to shut the omega's mouth, "I'm a very proud Beta."

"What...?" Porchay was obviously shocked. Which was understandable, Porsche was still struggling with the whole situation.

"Is that true?" Korn Theerapanyakun spoke for the first time, with a gleam in his eyes. "You don't look pregnant"
