I was all set up. I smiled and said "This is perfect."

My mom came in and said "This is so you honey!"

I hugged her and said "It feels good to be on my own again."

She looked at me and said "So how is it going with James?"

I blushed and said "I have a date with him tonight."

"Do you think it's going to end with a nightcap?"

I looked at her and said "No one says that anymore. I don't think it will but it could."

Alexander glared at me and I said "How are the wedding plans?"

"Going great. Oh honey, thank you for helping."

"It's not a problem."

She hugged me and said "Let's go Alexander."

He pulled me into his arms and hugged me while he also grabbed a handful of my ass. I pushed him away and said nothing. He left and I locked my door. Hopefully with some distance between us he'll leave me alone and let me live my own life. Even as I thought it I knew I wasn't going to happen. I went and got ready for my date. I grabbed my car keys and went to the garage.

"You are not going on that date!"

My keys were taken from me and I said "Yes I am and you can't stop me."

"Like hell I can't."

I spun around and said "Leave me alone! You have my mother! You can't have me too!"

"It's just until the wedding. After the wedding I'll have your mother to fullfill my needs."

'Eww.'

I pushed him away from me and said "Fuck off."

"Or what?"

"I'll tell my mother everything. She might hate me but she won't want you anymore."

"That would work for me too because then I can have you all to myself."

I snatched my keys from him and said "Leave me alone."

I got in the car and started it.

"We're not done here."

"Yes, we are."

I pulled out of my space and went on my date.

(Two months later)

It's been two weeks and I haven't stopped seeing Alexander. He keeps popping up at my dates with James and I don’t like it. But it stopped two weeks ago and I hoped it would last but I should have known better. James came over to my house and I cooked us dinner.

"You have a pretty nice place."

"Thank you. I mean my mother's husband is helping me pay for it just until I can find my own job and my father's will is found which I'm sure is hidden in that mess he called a desk."

He laughed and I said "So, how was your week?"

He smiled and said "Long and boring. Being the owner of the world's most popular hotel chain can be a big bummer."

"It doesn't sound too fun either. What keeps you going?"

He took a sip of his beer and said "Well before it was just constant work and my charities."

"And now?"

He set the beer on the table and said "Well I find it funny because ever since I met you at that reasterant I can't seem to keep you off my mind."
