"Please? She won't listen to me because she'll think that I'm just angry about my own romance troubles."

"What happened to you and Eric?"

I huffed and said "The bastered cheated on me with Jessica."

I heard him knock something over.

"You should have just called me and I would have beat the asshole sensless!"

I smiled. I love my brother. Always there to protect me since dad couldn't anymore.

"I'll see you tomrrow. Okay?"

I hung up and started to unpack.

David showed up bright and early. So early that he helped with breakfast. I walked down the stairs and he said "So...Alexander-."

"I know he's a bit young but he makes me happy. Having both my babies in the house again makes me happy too. Did Beth tell you that she's going to help me plan my wedding?"

"Mom, don't you think that's a little insensitve on Bethany's behalf? She dated that guy for six years, he cheats on her and you expect her to help you plan your wedding?"

Mom sighed and said "I guess you're right. I was just thinking about myself. It's just ever since your father passed I've felt so lonely. With you and your sister out of the house I just missed having a full house."

I was being selfish. All the things my mother has done for me, I could at least fake my happiness for her even if I didn't approve. I walked into the kitchen and said "For the wedding, I was thinking of a pink gold theme."

They looked at me and I said "I just want you to be happy mom."

She hugged me and I said "But let's face it, you're not allowed to wear white anymore."

She laughed and said "I think pink gold is a great idea for the wedding sweetie."

I looked at David and he said nothing. I know he didn't approve either but when mom wants something, she gets it.

"Bethany, we're going out for dinner. Do you want to come?"

I looked up at my mom and said "No thanks. You, David and Alexander have a good time."

She kissed my head and said "Alex has to stay here. He has work he has to finish up."

I nodded and she said "I'll bring you back something yeah?"

"Thanks mom."

She walked out and I heard them leave. I went back to reading my book. To be honest it was a book I really shouldn't have been reading, considering I'm single and had no other way to relieve my...fustrations. Except I did have a way to relieve myself. I stood up and shut my door. I went into my bedside table and grabbed good ol' Bob. I said I was sensitve not a prude. I was so into it I didn't even notice my door open. I opened my eyes and gasped. "That's what I thought."
