Chapter 24

Victoria and John's Mansion, Los Angeles, California, 10am

I woke up. It's the morning. Today is the day I'm leaving LA. My parents don't know, neither does my sister. I did this out of anger and I am still angry at just everything. So I went to the bathroom and went to go and shower and get ready. I then went to the shower and showered. I then got out and then went to the closet to see what I could wear. Even today was just not my day, so I am going to wear black. I can't with niggas for real.

I got a black hoodie and joggers set and then I got that laid out on my bed. I then go to the mirror and get my skincare products out of the cabinet, I then proceed with my routine, then put some concealer on and then did my hair in a slick back bun. And then I looked at myself. I'm too fine for these niggas to be playing with me.

I then go downstairs to cook some breakfast before I go to the Faze House to say goodbye, I then see my mom smoking and looking out of the window.

"Hey"

She didn't say nothing.

"Alright then, Imma just get ghosted that's fine"

Victoria: Hey my baby, you good?

"You want me to be honest? I'm not good and I don't wanna talk about it"

Victoria: Wait, why you in all black?

"Because I ain't in the mood Ma, and I'm leaving"

Victoria: You didn't even stay here for a month though.

"Can we please talk about why you and Dad were fighting?"

Victoria: It's complicated.

"Well, you two better fix it because I ain't joking with y'all. I don't want y'all to divorce. There's children in this marriage and I just need y'all to fix it"

Victoria: I doubt it but we'll try.

I then walk up to her and look at her. She had dark under eyes and she looked like she wanted to go crazy. That mean it was real bad. And then I looked at her, she looked at me. She looked scary, her hair wasn't looking good. I just was worried.

She then looked back at the window and then she sighed, she then put the spliff back in her mouth and smoked from it.

"Ma, do you want me to stay?"

Victoria: No, go.

"So you really want me to go?"

Victoria: You've got a job, you need to go back and get that money whatever happens here, it's okay.

"Mom, I'm part of this family too, I can stay if you need me too"

Victoria: You're okay, you can go, we alright.

"You damn sure don't look alright"

Victoria: I'm good okay, Destinee, please.

"Okay, okay, Imma go to the Faze House and say goodbye"

Victoria: You want me to drop you off at the airport?

"Please, that'll be nice of you. But please be sober, I'm not trying to be alone"

Victoria: I'll be coming there tomorrow.

"Yes, so you will be bringing Diamond and Hazel with you?"

Victoria: Diamond will come when everything is sorted. I'll see what I can do.

"Because she really wants to meet my friends and you also get to see Teyana's babies"

Victoria: Aight, you go to the house and get back just in time for the airport. I'll be packing in the meantime.
