"This is not the way to the resort" Alycia said when she realized that Oceane was driving the truck in a different direction and not towards the resort.

"Yes, it isn't"

"Is this the part where you kidnapped me and killed me in a deserted place so no one could find my body?"

Oceane laughed at what Alycia said.

"You've read too many movie scripts, your imagination is running wild" Oceane said between laughs.

Alycia pursed her lips as Oceane teased her, "Where are we going?"

"To the dense forest, I need to find a hidden place to hide your bodyㅡaw, don't hit me, we might have an accident"

"You're being annoying again"

"Thank you for the compliment"

"It's not a compliment, Oceane"

"It is for me, Alycia"

"Blah blah blah"

Alycia snorted, leaning her head as she played with her phone. Oceane chuckled at Alycia's annoyance but said nothing. A few minutes later, Oceane stopped the truck.

"We're here" she said to Alycia.

Alycia lifted her head and looked around. Oh, she recognized this place.

'Dreamy Scoops'

"I want to keep your promise, so come on, Oreo ice cream is waiting for me" Oceane said. Then she got out of the truck and walked towards the ice cream shop.

"H-hey wait for me!" Alycia then followed Oceane.

The doorbell rang as Oceane and Alycia entered the ice cream shop.

"Welcome! Oh, hai Oceane" Oceane just nodded.

Alycia looked a little confused, she knew this ice cream shop, she came here often in the past with Oceane and others, but she didn't know the man who greeted Oceane, and Oceane noticed Alycia's confusion.

"This is Adam, he's a new employee here, it's only been a few months, right Adam?"

Adam nodded, "Yes, that's right, 8 months to be exact. Hi, I'm Adam. And what's the name of this beautiful woman I'm talking to?"

Oceane snorted and thought, 'Here we go again'. Well, Adam was known to tease the pretty girls who came to buy ice cream, but he did it just for fun.

"Not her, Adam." Oceane said.

"Why not? She's pretty, I have to try and give it a shoot" he said to Oceane, then looked back at Alycia and smiled. Alycia smiled back only slightly.

"What if I shoot you? Literally shoot you, sounds like a good plan, right?"

Of course, Oceane didn't mean what she said. She and Adam weren't enemies or anything, but they weren't close friends either, but they got along just fine... friends, but not close.

Adam was shocked to hear Oceane's words, he looked at Oceane who was staring at him flatly but sharply. The man looked at Oceane and Alycia alternately for a few times while his brain was thinking, I don't know what he was thinking but after that he seemed to have gotten the answer.

"Oh...Oh! She's...she's your...Okay, okay, I got it. Damn, sorry dude, my bad" he said.

"What's wrong with him?" Alycia whispered to Oceane who was standing next to her.
