"Alright little Hero's!" Present Mic yelled into the microphone. "Be sure to line up in orderly fashion! No pushing! And make sure we have fun today!"

"Yeah, so much fun." I sighed, my stomach growling at me. Wishing I had gotten some morning fiber. But it was too late now.

"Good morning y/n." Shoji greeted me as he stood beside me.

"Morning handsome." I greeted him back with a smile.

"Would it be alright if I wait in line with you?" He asked me, and I could see the blush creeping over the edge of his mask.

"Sure thing." I told him and scooted over in line. "Aizawa said I should hang close to you anyway today."

"I'm sorry." Shoji apologized and I furrowed my brows as I looked at him.

"Sorry for what? You didn't do anything." I told him. "If anything, I should be apologizing to you. I've been the problem child lately."

"I feel like I kind of harm your image." He told me. "You know big ugly guy next to you."

"You're not ugly Shoji." I told him. "You have a very handsome face, and you're very kind. If you ask me that sounds beautiful, inside or out."

"You don't mean that, I don't even show my entire face." He tried convincing me as he held his hand over his mask, as if he was hiding his face even more.

"Oh sweetheart, I know how beautiful you are." I told him and placed my hands on his large bicep. "I can see passed the mask and see you."

"How?" He asked, his eyes were wide.

"By seeing your-." I started saying but realized that we weren't surrounded by our class anymore. So, it was no longer wise to be speaking so loudly. I gestured to Shoji to bend down, and I leaned into his ear. "Desires to be with someone with your mask off."

"You can see that?" He whispers back and I nod. He got a deep look on his face, as if he was thinking and slowly stood up straight.

"And you're not scared?" He asked me after coming out of his own head.

"Why would I be scared?" I shrugged.

"I don't know." He told me and took a breath. "I forget that you are a very open-minded person."

"And are you?" I asked him, and I couldn't help but sway, waiting to hear what he had to say. He looked at me puzzled. "Open-minded?" I clarified.

"Oh." He hummed and I noticed he was wiping his hands on his outfit. Even though he is the biggest person in our class, he was by far the cutest. "I don't think so. Not for myself anyway."

"But you've thought about it before, haven't you?" I questioned him.

"I tried." He admitted. "However, I don't think that open-minded lifestyle is the best idea for me. It does seem enticing, but it also seems rushed. I also don't know you very well, personally."

"Thats fair." I nodded and we stepped up to the distribution table and gave them our names before we were handed our list of tests.

"It really does look like we have most of the same tests." Shoji commented and I turned to see he had grown an eyeball out of one of his arms and was scanning over my test. "Would you like to get warmed up together?"

"Sure. Shouldn't you be saving your energy though?" I asked him as we started walking towards our first test together.

"My quirk doesn't super rely on stamina like yours would." He told me. "It is kind of a mental drain but only affects me if I'm exhausted from a fight. Like over working your muscles in a work out."

"That sounds a bit nicer than what I deal with." I commented as I swung my arm to the opposite side and held it to my chest as I started stretching. "I'm constantly on the drain."

"I would think that would strengthen your quirk, no?" He asked. "Constantly draining the battery low and then jumping back up? Like lifting weights, you gotta to go down before going back up to build muscle."

"I never thought of it that way." I said and slowly did the splits down the ground and stayed where I was to stretch my legs.

"Looks like you'll do great on your flexibility tests." Shoji commented as he stood over me.

"Would you mind helping me?" I asked him. I could see the red from all the way down here. He crouched down onto his knees beside me and supported my sides as he helped pull me into a stretch.

"I couldn't help but overhear from Koda that you had a good time in Kaminari's room last night." He told me and with his hands on me, I couldn't help but feel like I got busted.

"Oh, poor Koda." I whined for him. "Did I scar him for life?"

"I don't think so." He laughed and we swapped stretches. "He seemed to find it more amusing than anything."

"I'll have to get him an 'I'm sorry basket'." I said and got up. "Can I help you stretch?"

"Um, sure." He said, and bit hesitant. "I don't know if your size could stretch me properly."

"I'm stronger than I look Shoji." I teased and he sat on the ground across from me and I was able to assist him in stretching. I watched as his muscles flex under my touch, and I was enjoying what was on display. "Do I make you uncomfortable?" I asked, only after seeing his shy eyes avoiding looking at me too.

"More like you make me nervous." He told me as we wrapped up the basic stretches. "I don't usually have the courage to speak to pretty people, they don't usually want to talk to me anyway."

"Why do you think that?" I asked him.

"You must know what's under my mask." He told me as we headed to our testing site.

"Scars don't usually deter girls, you know." I told him. "If anything, it can do the opposite."

"Not where I grew up." He told me, and it clarified something for me. His trauma thinking he couldn't be with someone who doesn't constantly want something from him. Like they would need a reason to keep him around. Like a slut like me could find use in a guy like him.

"We're not where you grew up Mezo." I told him, making sure he heard me with his first name. I want him to know I was serious. "You don't need to come to me for companionship. Just look around and spot the girls looking at you now, use all your eyes."

He stuttered in his steps a bit as I informed him that he was being watched, and he didn't even know it. His eyes peaked around all the edges of his body, as to not reveal to those watching him, he had spotted them. I watched as he flinched.

"There's at least five girls looking in my direction." He told me.

"And I'll let you in on a secret." I told him. "They're not looking because of disgust."

"You're not messing with me are you?" He asked me.

"Now I might be a tease, but I am telling the truth." I told him and he took a deep breath. "You've got the ladies attention Mezo. If you want it all you have to do is ask."

"Could I ask you?" He asked me after a moment.

"You could." I told him. "But are you comfortable with the idea of being in a group?"

"No." He answered and he seemed disappointed in his answer.

"And you don't have to be." I told him. "There are girls out there for you, and I know you'll meet the one for you some day."

"Thank you, y/n."
