🎄 Merry Christmas 🎄

I got my keys out of my pocket searching for my copy of Denki's key, as I made my way down the hallway. Back when we were more exclusive, he insisted that we should have a copy of each other's keys for surprise sexy times. He loves the spontaneous stuff.

I held my keys quiet as I stopped in front of Denki's door and made sure to go slow with inserting the key to minimize noise. Turning the nob I could see light creeping around the edge of the door, meaning he was still awake with his lights on.

Peaking my head in I could see him leaning on one of his hands at his desk. Looks like he was still trying to do homework. I propped the door open as I slid the bags in my hand passed my legs and into the room, before waiting for the door to lightly tap the door frame. Following the door nob in my grasp back to it's resting position, making sure it wouldn't make a noise.

I turn my head back around and saw he hadn't noticed anything out of the ordinary. I couldn't help but be proud that I was going to get to actually surprise him, since he's usually on his bed when I come in like this. The surprise is always ruined, but not this time.

I carefully set the bags down on the floor and even placed the handles down, not want it to bounce off the bag. I then felt a little more free to move faster, and walked towards him.

Looking over his shoulder, I was right he was still working on homework. It kind of looked like the work that we had 2 weeks ago.

I shook my head a bit to refocus back on Denki, I doubt it would be long before he noticed.

"Hey there bubs." I said as I threw myself onto his back with my arms wrapping around his neck, and his head snapped in my direction from me scaring him.

I flinched as we made eye contact and it felt like a demon was trying to rage it's way out of my body. His eyes were soaked with tears, his under eyes practically burning red from how long I can imagine he's been crying.

"Y/n!" He yelled, and it turned into a hiccup.

"What's wrong?" I ask him, barely. It came out more as a demand then anything else.

"I didn't know you were back already." He told me and turned away from me to drag his sleeve across his face.

"What happened?" I asked him and ripped him away from his desk. I wanted answers. The force of me pulling him back, also turned his chair to be facing me properly and now he was the one flinching.

"Nothing!" He said and it didn't take a genius to know he was lying. "I just got frustrated with homework.

"Did Katsuki help you?" I ask.

"Yeah, he spent like five hours with me until I gave up." He told me. "I just couldn't understand what he was saying."

"Was he mean to you?" I question him, ready to go teach Katsuki a lesson he apparently didn't pick up the other day.

"No! He was actually really patient, which was weird." He said getting distracted. "I mean he complained most of the time, but he didn't insult me directly or anything. Also weird, now that I'm thinking about it. Did you do something to him?"

"Don't get distracted." I told him, and the flinch that came from his body was enough to wave a completely different emotion over his face.

He went from scared to depressed and I felt my body destress from the reaction.

"I can't help it." He whispered. "I can't help but not pay attention. I try. I swear I try!" He cried.

"Denki, what's going on?" I ask him, calmer this time.
