Well, guys, I've actually been pretty excited to get to this point of the story. As you remember, we're have the gang to Alola and this excites me since I FUCKING LOVE Gen 7! It might not be portrayed the best here, I'm only one guy, but I hope you guys enjoy nonetheless.

The next morning after Serena's Contest, Ash and his group stopped at the port, with Serena being the one assigned to claim the tickets Gary had ordered for Hau'oli City. On one of the video phones, the young Oak himself, alongside Ash, were speaking to his grandfather, who's eyes were wide with surprise.

Prof. Oak: You're saying Brock's Primeape evolved into a new Pokemon?!

Ash: Yeah, my Pokedex said John, Brock's Primeape, was something called "Annihilape", a Fighting and Ghost-type.

Prof. Oak: Fighting and Ghost... Astounding.

Gary: And crazy thing, I'm supposed to be the future researcher, but I know jack about it. So would you happen to have any information, Gramps?

Prof. Oak: Hang on for a minute...

Oak then went off screen and began scrolling through his computer. He then hit the print button and found the information.

Prof. Oak: I found it! Like Ash said, it's called Annihilape, a Fighting and Ghost type. It's actually a more common Pokemon in the Paldea region.

Ash: Paldea?

Cobalt: I never even heard of that place before... Maybe I don't remember it from being so young when we went?

Green: That would be impossible, Cobalt.

Cobalt: Why's that?

Green: You don't remember Paldea because our tribe's NEVER BEEN to Paldea.

Ash: *hushed* Never?

Green: Never.

Prof. Oak: Paldea is a rather tropical and warm region in the south, adjacent to the Sinnoh region, which is the closest despite being over 200,000 miles apart. In fact, my old compatriot, Clavell, is director of an esteemed academy in the region.

Gary: An academy? Sounds interesting.

Ash: Maybe that's where we need to go after Alola?

Prof. Oak: Mayhaps. Oh! By the way, your mother has been trying to get a hold of you for a while now. It's best you call her before you leave.

Gary: You can use the phone next to me, Ash. I'm gonna stick to this one and make some transfers. Something tells me I'm gonna need it.

Ash: Alright then...

Leading his starters away, Ash heads to the video phone next to Gary and dials his house number. However, when the screen turns on and the call picks up, Ash sees the face of his mother... And she's not exactly the happiest in the world.

Ash: Um... Hi, Mom.

Delia: Well, well! You finally decided to call! Do you have ANY idea how many Pokemon Centers I've been leaving messages at, hoping you would be there?!

Ash: Sorry, sorry. So, what's the emergency that the Professor needed me to call you about?

Delia: What emergency? If I didn't say it was a big emergency, you would've called me either way, wouldn't you? You're just like your father.

Green: *chuckles* Oh, dude, she's laying into you DEEP.

Cobalt: I DO NOT envy you right now, buddy.
