Psi: So, this Pokemon... It said this thing is called a "Z-Ring"?

It was the morning after their first night in Alola. Ash and Serena had just finished catching Gary and the rest of their Pokemon up to speed with the current events as Psi and Gary look over the new Z-Ring on Ash's wrist.

Ash: Yeah, Tapu Koko gave it to me itself.

Gary: Wait wait wait... Tapu Koko?! I thought that was just a legend?

Green: Some legend that turned out to be, huh? It just appears and gives us a... Whatever that thing is.

Cobalt: Yeah, and look at the symbol in that weird gem. Is that... a leaf? I wonder what that could mean.

Azula: Not sure, hon. But it seems pretty powerful, kinda like the Dynaband.

Aiden: You think I could use it?

Psi: It is a possibility, Aiden.

Ash: Well... We could ask my parents later. Right now, I think it's time we do some training!

Gary: Where are they, anyway?

Ash: Work, I suppose. I don't even know, a lot of things have been popping up. I never even formed a plan on who to use in my next Frontier Battle.

Serena: Oh, Ash... *places hand on his shoulder* Why don't you go and take a walk?

Ash: But, Serena, what about-

Serena: It's okay. I could use some practice for my next contest, anyway.

Gary: Plus, we've been on the move nonstop. It'd be nice for us to take a break for a little bit so you can refresh your head, Ash.

The boy looks at his two companions before sighing and standing back up.

Ash: Alright. *to his Pokemon* Do any of you guys wanna come with me?

Psi: I would love to, Ash, but I think I should stay behind. See if the Professor has any research on this "Z-Ring".

Aiden: I'd rather fly, really. Sorry.

Azula: It's been a while since I've had some water time.

Ash: Wow, I... Really should let you guys out more, huh?

Aiden: Hey, we get it. We're not as compact as we once were. We'll just hang around here until you come back.

He nods in understanding as Melody then reappears again, smiling happily.

Melody: I'll walk with you, Ash.

Green: Yeah, it'd be nice to get used to this place.

Ash: Well... Okay then. Gary, call me on the house phone if something's up.

Gary: You got it.

Serena: Be careful!

Ash nods as he and the three Pokemon nod and walk away from the house and into the lush wood behind the house. The small party look at the sight in interest and wonder as Cobalt takes a Sitrus Berry from a tree and takes a bite.

Cobalt: Mmm.... Can't beat that tree-grown freshness.

Green: Man, this place is so beautiful and serene.

Ash: It really does take me back to those hikes Papa Kukui used to take me on... Do you remember if your tribe came here on their travels, Green?

Green: Um... One time, when I was very young. But I can't seem to remember much about this place.
