5. COINCIDENCE OR PLANNED?

"Did I seriously agree to the date? Ahhhh, what the fuck is happening to me."

"Fluffy see I am seriously getting ill day by day" she said looking at Fluffy who was busy watching her get ready

She has been grumpy since Rathore left for their mansion. Now, she is getting ready for the date with Shivansh, and she agrees she doesn't know why. She adorns herself in a red crop top and Black jeans, which flatter her figure quite well. A slight touch of lipstick makes her look beautiful even without any makeup.

She quickly picked up her bag and left the room not before adoring her look in the mirror. Her step halted down the stairs while Fluffy quietly followed her with his collarbone in his mouth. But he was not getting noticed as aliyah was busy messaging her online buddy about the date she was going to have with Shivansh today.

"Bhaw Bhaw"

Fluffy's sudden bark reached her, astounding her as she took the final step down the stairs. Her foot tangled in the air and for a second her mind was sure that the ground was rushing up to hit her. But even she could ask for help, two strong arms wrapped around her, pulling her up. She quickly grabbed his hand training to get some support scratching it unknowingly. She was slowly lifted by those arms filling her nostrils with the familiar fragrance she was having in her room when he left.

"Are you okay Jaana?" all the gratitude she had for him left her mind as soon he called her Janna irking her to the core.

"Huhh Jaana" she hushed with an irked expression making him chuckle at her cute face.

"Shivansh beta are you alright? Her nails were scratching your arms. Do you need any antiseptic?"

Her mom's words were like needles being pierced into her heart, each sharper than the previous one. The woman who adorned her daughter like a princess, the one who shredded tears alongside her at the smallest scratch, now seems unaffected and vanished. The care and love in her eyes are now replaced by the cold behaviour towards her, making her feel like a stranger in her own house.

On the other hand, Shivansh's heart burned with fierce rage and confusion. The way Aliyah's mom treated her was something unacceptable. Her daughter was about to fall, even if it was just a single step it could have caused some injuries to her, but here she was asking her to be son-in-law bout the scratch, the fucking scratch. His heart thumped with confusion while his mind couldn't wrap up the scenarios which could have happened to turn her family so cold towards her. His body was unable to digest the fact that, the woman who captured his heart with her kindness and care could have done something terrible enough to lose the trust of her family.

"Aliyah, are you okay? Or if you are not we can visit the doctor " The deep husky voice of Shivansh who had just now ignored his mother-in-law reached aliyah's ears making her look up into his eyes which were filled with love and concern for her. Love and concern that aliyah still doubted. Her heart wanted to hold him and cry out loud about how much she was missing her mother's old self, her love and care. But her mind was not ready to trust him so easily.

"Uuu uu" Fluffy too cooed in low voices trying to know if his favourite human was injured or something. Melting aliyah's heart in an instant.

"I am okay Shivansh ji, and Fluffy baby, mummy is ok humm." She patted him making him wiggle his tail in happiness making aliyah chuckle.

"Shivansh Damad Ji is here Aliyah, stop wasting his time. He has better work to do." And the last string of his patience was pulled making him snap towards his to-be mother-in-law.

"Sorry to interrupt Aunty but she is my fiance, my soon-to-be wife" his voice was firm yet gentle enough to not scare Aliyah.

"She has all right to have my time, to steal my attention and to rule my heart. Every single copyright belongs to her and her only" he said looking deeply into her eyes which conveyed some unsaid emotions he wanted to explore.

"Damad ji, I was just.."

"Let's go, Aliyah." Shivansh's firm voice cut her off making her feel ignored.

Aliyah was still lost in her daze after Shivansh's words. The world seemed to be a blur, while her heart was filled with warmth and love his words conveyed. But her daze retrieved as soon as the low bark and tugs by Fluffy grabbed her attention. Her eyes filled with awe looking at the cute creature trying to get the attention of his favourite human. She bends down to his level patting his head and making him wiggle in happiness.

"Sorry baby, but I cannot take you out today...but mumma promises to take you on a night walk and reward you with extra treats if you stay back home and be a good boy." She said making Fluffy a little sad but bark in agreement.

She patted him one last time and turned towards Shivansh who was adoring her each move with love and care ignoring the words his mom was trying to justify or fill his head. Her step halted towards him, stopping just a few feet away from him. She looked deep inside eyes travelling down to his outfit which had gone unnoticed by her early making her gasp.

"Red and blue" she muttered under her breath but audible enough to be heard by him, making his lips curve up into a smirk. He was wearing the same colour outfit as her. A Red t-shirt paired with black jeans with a black coat makes him look 10 times more handsome than their previous meeting.

"But how?" She asked unknowingly.

"Magic baby" he winked at her making her pout.
