It was quite late at night; Aliyah was sitting in her bed, tapping on her phone and giggling at the conversation she was having with her online friend, who seems to be very interested in knowing how she had spent her day.

Him

"You seriously agreed to marry him in 2 weeks."

Her

"Yeah, he is a good guy, and to be honest, I kinda like him; he is so sweet. <3"

"But don't you think it's too early?"

"Umm, kinda. But I will manage.

"What if he forces you into intimacy?"

"R..... mind your words.I told you he is not like every other boy."

"Aliyah, see, it's very common."

"That's our thing to sort out, R. Please don't comment on that. I don't like it."

"But"

"You know what? I am too tired. I know what is right and wrong; dare you say one more bad thing about him?"

"Okay, okay. Sorry, I shouldn't comment on someone until I meet him. I am sorry."

"It's okay, but never repeat these things again."

"Okay."

"I am tired of going to sleep. Good night.

She quickly messaged and turned off the Wi-Fi connection of her phone, not wanting to spoil her already spoilt mood more. She knew he was her friend, but he didn't have any right to comment on anyone's personality when he hadn't met him even once. She didn't know what was wrong with him; he had always tried to help her in every way possible, but since the day she had said yes to the marriage, he had been behaving a little overpossessive toward her. Maybe because he had seen her struggle, but things were messy in her head.

"Aaahhh, I need someone to talk with. But not him," she whined in annoyance and fell back on her bed, putting her head in her hands, trying to calm herself down. She tried to sleep, but to her bad luck, her phone rang the moment she started to think about Shiv making in Shrek in annoyance and throw the pillow on the floor and sit up in bed.

"Who the fuck calls someone this late?" She gritted her teeth and picked up her phone even without looking at the caller ID.

"Sharam nahi aati aadhi raat ko koun phone karta hai kisi ko? Tumhari to khair nahi, jis din mere sar ki garmi badhi na raat bhar phone kar karke aisa pareshan karungi, so nahi paoge," she said without even listening to what the person on the other side was saying.

(You are calling me at midnight; don't you feel ashamed? See, the day my anger reaches a breaking point, I will call you nonstop throughout the night to prevent you from getting the rest.)

The person on the other side didn't reply with anything; they just took a deep breath, making the aliyah anger peak up.

"Are you gunge ho gaye ky, bolo ab." She stated, making the other person cough and mutter a hello, causing her eyes to go wide and feel with a visible embarrassment, making her face-palm herself.

(Have you gone mute? Say something.)

She slowly looked at the phone screen and saw the name, regretting her behaviour more and more. She cried annoyingly and placed the phone back to her ear and heard him saying something to her.

"Hey, is everything okay? Is someone annoying you at midnight?" Shiv asked, making her feel a little calm that at least he understood her mood swing and the difference between her anger and annoyance. But her heart was still guilty about the way she behaved with him and decided to apologise.

"Sorry, Shivansh, it's just my annoyance I let out on you. I promise I will never repeat this." She said cutely, making him smile and admire her cute voice, which was blessing his ears.

"Jaana, how many times have I told you not to apologise to me? I understand you might be too annoyed to react that way. And trust me, I am not angry at you. Tell me what's bothering you." He said calmly, telling her like he was pacifying a 5-year-old child, making her feel a little relief, but the thing her online friend said played again in her mind, and she whined in annoyance.

"He reacted very badly," she gave him the reason.

"Who, baby? Your dad?" He tried to know who bothered her so much that she is annoyed.

"No, that online friend of mine," she clarified.

"That Mr. R.?" he asked, being visibly worried about her being in any kind of issue.

"Yes. He said that you... Ah, never mind, let's not discuss that." She tried to shrug off the topic, but he was too adamant to let her leave the topic incomplete.

"Aliyah, tell me. It might not be a small thing, or else it wouldn't have affected you," he sternly said, making her wince and nod.

"He was saying that you will try to get intimate with me as soon as we marry, and he was not happy with the fact that we agreed to marry in just 2 weeks," she said, pouting, making him feel relaxed that it's not a big matter but still a serious topic to discuss.

"Aliyah, it's okay; he is your friend. He might be worried about you. Okay, don't take his words to heart. And about the intimacy, I assure you that I will never cross the line until you permit me to do so, okay?" he softly said, making her smile at his words and feel proud to choose a man like him.

"Okay, but what about you? Will you be happy like that?"She asked, lying down on the bed and turning towards the window.

"I will be more than okay, Aliyah; I will be the luckiest man to marry you and have a wife like you. Beautiful and intelligent in her own and unique way," he said, making her blush hard.

"What did I do to deserve you, Mr. Rathore?" she said, unconsciously thinking about their moments.

"You just existed, jaana," he said, making her blush more hard.

"Don't say those cheesy lines, Mr. I may start liking you," she said trying to tewase him back.

"Yahi to maksad hai jaaneman," he said in a teasing tone, causing a red hue to cover her cheeks.

(That's exactly my mission.)

"Okay, okay, I think it's too much cheese for me to digest. Did you have some work with me?" she asked, making him chuckle.

"No, I just wanted to hear your scoldings; it's been long since you scolded me." she rolled her eyes at his teased tone.

"I am sleepy, Mr. I am going to sleep. Have a good night." She said, not trying to get more embarrassed, and cut the call immediately, lying down in her bed, throwing her hands and legs in the air, feeling happy and embarrassed at the same time. But the thing that made her embarrassed, her heart was happy, and she clearly knew everything was going to be good even in the future.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Shivansh was laughing his heart out remembering her reactions to his teasing and felt happy knowing she is getting comfortable with him. His heart was at peace while his mind couldn't believe the thing that she is going to his in just 2 weeks. She will be his wife, his life, forever.

She will be his wife, his life, forever
