Shivansh paced back and forth, a certain excitement in his face "Maa, hurry up! We are going to be late" he called out for the infinite time, sounding more desperate than usual.

Aashika, who was lounging on the couch, tried to try her giggles seeing his brother so desperate. "Bhaiya, Relax. We still have an hour. We have told Bhabhi to come at 2 PM and it's only 1"

Everyone was amused and giggling as they watched Shivansh being so impatient for the first time, who was usually the calmest. Shivansh had called his mother at least fifteen times in the past hour. The family couldn't help but chuckle at his anxious behaviour.

"Maa!" he called again, more insistently this time, and without looking up, just to receive a hard smash on the back of his head. He whined and turned to find his mother staring at him.

"I am here only, stop screaming. Kaan ke parde or dimag dono phad diye hai mere." she scolded, twisting his ear slightly, earning a playful whine from him.

(you have damaged my ear drums and brain)

"Maaa" he whined again, but a little softer this time.

"I know you are desperate to shop with Aliyah, but dare you say anything again. Or I will cancel our plan" His maa warned him making him look at her in horror.

"No maa" he protested, making everyone giggle.

"Looks like Bhabhi's love spell has worked on bhai" Prayansh whispered to Ashika.

"It's good now we will ask Bhabhi for help whenever Bhai scolds us" Ashika smiled and whispered back to him.

They shook their hand on their little plan, but Shivansh's voice came from behind just as they finished.

"Your new phones are cancelled. Don't thank me " he whispered peeking from behind making them jump in surprise.

"Bhai" they whined in union, hands on their hearts.

"That's not fair" Prayansh protested. "You promised if we studied hard and scored good marks, we would get new phones"

"Yes you can't break your promise" Aasika added pouting dramatically

"Whatever. No new phones and that's final" Shivansh declared, ignoring their puppy eyes.

The duo turned towards their father for support "papa".

"I am staying out of your drama" he raised his hand surrendering to their daily drama, making them grin in defeat while Shivansh smirked.

Shivansh rolled his eyes at their antics, picked up the car keys, and wrapped an arm around his mother's shoulders. She shot him a mock glare for making the younger one upset.

"Don't look at me like that. I feel scared " Shivansh complained to his mother.

"Huh.. now you do not hurry anymore " she taunted to which Shivansh cheekily grinned.

"Forget your grumpy kids. Let me take you and Papa to shopping."

With that, he moved towards the gate with his parents, leaving the duo behind still grumbling over the phone.

Just as they were about to leave, Shivansh turned around. "You two coming or should we buy more clothes for ourselves and forget about yours?"

And that trick worked. Both Aashika and Prayansh bolted towards the door, mood instantly shifted, leaving everyone laughing.

Shivansh smiled looking at his family who happily sat in the car blabbering how how excited they were to meet Aliyah and shop and talk with her about different topics. He drove off quickly towards the mall calming his pounding heart, but a confidence to make her comfortable with them.
