Kara, Lena and Lori are now walking inside the entrance to the building which houses the penthouse which Lena and Lori live in. Lori, for her part, seems to be in a very happy mood right now, obviously having had an absolutely amazing time with her aunt Alex yesterday. Currently, as Kara, Lena and Lori walk into the entrance area of the building, Lori is holding hands with both her two moms, skipping along as she does, with a wide smile on her face. Seeing this sight from Lori, makes both Kara and Lena very happy, as they love seeing their daughter like this, as what parent wouldn't love seeing their child so unbelievably happy. Soon, the trio make their way into the elevator of the building, where Lena soon types in her access code, allowing the elevator to actually take them to the top floor which her penthouse is located on, with the doors to the elevator closing a few moments later.

"So, you had a really really good time with Alex then?" Kara asks Lori, once the doors close.

"Yes." Lori nods, "We did lots of things together. We went to the arcade, and the park, and cooked dinner, and had ice cream, and played games, and watched a movie."

"Well, that certainly sounds like a very good time." Lena smiles.

"Oh! And aunt Alex made me take a nap! But she napped with me too, and we cuddled on her bed! We did the same when we slept last night too." Lori says, with a happy smile.

Both Kara and Lena grow smiles on their faces at Lori saying this, because it shows evidence of just how much Lori and Alex's bond is continuing to grow. For Lena, this is a truly amazing thing, as it was only a few months ago when Lori was basically afraid of everyone, and only really truly interacted with her, and only a little bit with Jess and Lillian. Now though, Lori has really come out of her shell, and really loves both Kara and Alex very much, and is very affectionate with them.

"That sounds fun then." Kara smiles.

"Oh, and aunt Alex told me that as we didn't get to play any board games really while I was with her, we could play them on Christmas, in Midvale." Lori says, mostly looking at Kara now.

"Oh, yeah." Kara nods, "It is a bit of a tradition for us to eat our Christmas dinner in Midvale, and then a few hours later, pull out the board games for all of us to play."

"Yes. I want to do that." Lori nods, with a wide smile.

"I'm sure we will, darling." Lena says, affectionately stroking the back of Lori's head, "So, did you only play Uno with aunt Alex?"

"Yes, and one game of chess." Lori says.

"Chess?" Kara asks, in a confused voice.

"Yes. I won. Aunt Alex told me I'm very good, even if mommy is a lot better than me." Lori explains.

Kara now looks at Lena, seeking answers.

"I'm pretty good at chess, and Lori and I have played several games together. I, of course, am better than Lori, but she is very naturally gifted too." Lena explains.

"Oh Rao. Is Lori gonna be like some sort of chess prodigy who you continue to train, so by the time she's a teenager she'll be a one of those kids who is scarily good at chess, and easily beats adults?" Kara asks.

"No." Lena chuckles, "I..... wouldn't make Lori do that, unless she really wanted to. I didn't want to have it be the same situation like it was for me growing up, and Lex too, I guess. Before I was brought into the Luthor household, I did play chess a bit with my mom, and even at school and things, so I was good at it, as it just came naturally to me. It was fun. However, when Lillian got her hands on me, she very much kind of forced me to not only play it regularly, even at times I didn't want to, but to study it too. She didn't do it because she thought I was so good I could go pro or anything, but because she just saw her adopted daughter being excellent at chess to be a thing to show off to all her elitist friends."
