Ch 9

(Skylar's Pov)

After getting in the car I look at Sungyoon with a smile. "Hey. What are we doing tonight?" He hums as he drives off. "I actually promised to stop by my friend's house tonight if you don't mind." I blink a little but say reassuringly. "Sure I don't mind." He smiles and we start driving through the city I immediately frowning a little when we pull up to a large house party. "You didn't mention a party." He gives me a reassuring smile. "We'll just stop by for a little bit." I blink but reluctantly get out of the car and follow him inside he leading me to a corner after getting me a drink I making sure it's just a cup of soda. I then look around uncomfortably as Sungyoon excuses himself to go talk to someone. I frown staying by myself for a while before I finally decide to go ahead and call Seojun to come get me. Just as I go to head to the front door though someone moves in front of me a flirty smile on his face. "Well hello there pretty." I immediately glare saying in a stern tone. "I'm not interested." He pouts slightly. "Aw come on now don't be so harsh. Would you at least like a drink?" I shake my head no. "I don't take drinks from strangers." He shrugs before motioning to my cup. "You should at least finish your drink before you go." I raise an eyebrow but take a big gulp of my drink only to freeze because there's a gritty taste left in my mouth I staring at the man wide eyed. "How....?" He smirks. "A friend of mine slipped it into your drink when we were talking." I feel scared and nervous before I throw the drink in the man's face and dart outside I fumbling with my phone and quickly call Seojun he thankfully answering. "Are you okay?" I take a deep shaky breath before saying anxiously. "Sungyoon took me to a party and someone drugged my drink and I'm scared Seojun." He curses slightly before asking firmly. "Where are you?" I carefully head across the street to a small park I telling him this fact and give him some landmarks so he can get to me he assuring me he'll be there soon. I reluctantly hang up and sit on a bench starting to feel dizzy and like my body's floating. After waiting what seems like hours I hear Seojun's voice. "Skylar!" I shakily look up slurring out an "m'here." He rushes over to me worriedly and looks me over before kneeling down in front of me gently making me look at him. "What exactly happened Skylar? How were you drugged?" I pout saying in a small voice. "Sungyoon left me to go talk to someone and I was going to call you but this guy stopped me and distracted me so his friend could drug my drink." Seojun looks angry and annoyed he standing up then gently helps me to my feet only for me to immediately go crashing to the ground from a wave of dizziness Seojun quickly catching me. "Whoa are you okay?" I grimace a little saying softly. "My heads all fuzzy and I'm dizzy." He frowns only for me to squeak in shock when he scoops me up into his arms my arms instinctively going around his neck gently. "Wha.... What are you doing?" He starts walking towards the entrance of the park saying simply. "Carrying you." He then sets me down after heading over to a car he carefully opening the door for me and helps me in before closing the door for me. He then gets in the drivers seat I looking confused as I struggle with the seatbelt. "Whose car is this?" Seojun notices me struggling and reaches over clicking the seatbelt for me before he says simply. "It's my mom's. She was asleep so I took her keys because I knew you wouldn't be able to hold onto me with the motorcycle." I slowly nod and he starts driving off I looking out the window quietly. We soon reach the house and Seojun gets out after parking he heading to my side and helps me unbuckle then get out he ending up having to carry me again. I unconsciously cling onto him burying my face against his shoulder when I feel myself being set on a bed I cautiously peeking out from my face being buried against Seojun I seeing he brought me to my room. He then tries to move away from me but I whine petulantly clutching onto his shirt. "No don't leave." He tries to get me to loosen my grip on his shirt he finally prying my hands off and I look at him with a hurt dejected expression tears starting to well up in my eyes the drug making me emotional. Seojun seems to notice because he looks a little panicked he slipping his shoes and socks off then pulls my shoes and socks off before he scrambles to lay down beside me. "Don't cry I'm not leaving I promise. I just had to get my shoes off." I sniffle a little saying in a broken tone. "Will you sleep in here with me please?" He blinks in surprise but I give him a puppy dog look and he seems to give in. "Alright. Lay down okay." I nod and lay down getting settled before I slowly pass out from the effects of the drug.

(Seojun's Pov)

Watching as Skylar passes out from the drug I immediately feel pissed off because that guy just abandoned him at a party where he didn't know anyone. Looking down at Skylar I gently move some hair out of his face before I let out a sigh and carefully get more comfortable before I start to doze off.

*next morning*

(Skylar's Pov)

Slowly starting to wake up I whine a little at the throbbing in my head I shutting my eyes again when the bright light hits me. I snuggle against the warmth beside me figuring it's a pillow only to pause when I hear a deep voice. "How are you feeling?" My eyes immediately shoot open and I see I'm snuggling against Seojun my face turning red and I scramble away from him saying softly. "S.... Sorry. Um I have a massive headache. What happened last night?" He frowns anger showing in his eyes. "That asshole you were going out with took you to a party, abandoned you and you ended up drugged when a guy spiked your drink while you were being distracted." I frown last night slowly coming back to me a little. "Oh." I then reach for my phone wincing at the multiple messages and missed calls from Sungyoon. "I should probably call him back." Seojun gives me a stern look. "You're not going out with him again." I blink at his angry voice and say softly. "I'm just going to talk to him and see what his excuse is." He slowly nods and I dial Sungyoon's number he immediately answering. "What the hell happened to you last night?" I flinch before saying firmly. "I ended up getting drugged because you left me by myself in an unfamiliar place." It's quiet on his end for a while before he asks worriedly. "Are you okay? Did anything happen?" I say in a flat tone. "I'm fine I had to call Seojun to come get me and he took me home." Sungyoon's tone immediately turns apologetic. "I'm sorry Skylar I shouldn't have left you alone I was just absorbed in hanging out with my friends." I scoff a little. "You're damn right you shouldn't have left me alone. And you could have taken me with you to hang out with your friends but you left me alone in an unfamiliar place where I was almost taken advantage of." He immediately says petulantly. "I said I was sorry Skylar." I shake my head before saying aggressively. "If you're serious about me I expect you to look out for me. And I don't think I'm comfortable seeing you anymore if you're going to choose talking with your friends instead of making sure I'm comfortable and safe." He splutters a little sounding angry. "Are you serious?! You're going to quit seeing me because of a little mistake?" I snap at him through the phone. "It's not a 'little mistake' Sungyoon. I could've been raped. And if that isn't a big deal in your book then you can go fuck yourself. Now don't contact me anymore and don't talk to me in gym class either. Bye." I aggressively hang up and set my phone aside before burying my face in my hands groaning. "Apparently me almost being raped is a little mistake he made. I could've been seriously hurt and it's like he doesn't see that." Seojun says in a soft voice. "You can do better than him Skylar. A lot better." I slowly peek at him and give a weak smile. "Thanks Seojun." He just nods and suddenly my stomach growls I blushing a little holding it and Seojun chuckles. "Let's go get some food." I nod in agreement and get up skipping out of the room and to the kitchen I a little confused when I don't see Gowoon or Mrs Han. Confused I finally spot a note on the table I grabbing it curiously reading it.

We saw you and Seojun cuddling this morning and didn't want to wake you up. I have to work late and Gowoon is staying over at Jukyung's tonight so you two will have the house to yourselves. Try not to have too much fun.

Blushing bright red I crumple the note up and throw it away. "Your mom's working late and your sister's staying over with Jukyung. So we have the place to ourselves apparently." He frowns but nods and I head over to the stove grabbing pans and ingredients then start cooking happily. I then clear my throat asking Seojun to grab me an ingredient I forgot to get I soon feeling his presence behind me his body pressing against mine as he reaches up into a cabinet grabbing what I need my body tensed a little because of how close he is. He finally moves and hands me the ingredient I thanking him before I concentrate on finishing the food. "Alright it's done." I turn the stove off and plate the food before I turn carefully handing Seojun a plate before I head over to the table sitting down. He takes a seat beside me and we start eating happily there a comfortable silence between us. Once we're finished Seojun surprisingly grabs the dishes and starts washing them I unconsciously staring at him my heart thudding against my chest. Quickly snapping out of it I get up and head into the living room where I sit down and put a random show on. Soon Seojun joins me he sitting beside me and I swallow but try and ignore it I staying focused on the tv. After a while of watching the random program I start feeling tired my eyes drooping until I can't fight it anymore and I slowly fall asleep my head dropping onto Seojun's shoulder.
