Once school is over with we promise Jukyung that we'll be ready for the carnival around five so that her and Suho can pick us up before Seojun leads me to his motorcycle. He drives us to his house and we head inside I excusing myself to go get ready. I look through all of my clothes before pulling on some black skinny jeans with a white t shirt and black and white checkered long sleeve over shirt with white sneakers. I then do my hair and a little bit of makeup before texting Sungyoon for a little bit until it's time to go. Once it's time and Jukyung texts me that they're here I leave my room only to bump into Seojun I falling backwards a little he quickly wrapping an arm around my waist my hands going to his chest to support myself. I blink then look up at him I getting lost in his eyes as we just stare at each other only for me to jump when I hear a car horn I quickly pulling away from Seojun with a slight blush I clearing my throat a little. "We better head out or Jukyung will storm in here." He nods and we head out to the car getting in back Suho at the wheel. "What took you guys so long?" I say a little apologetically. "Sorry I was second guessing my outfit choice and then I ran into Seojun and almost fell." Jukyung looks back at me and seems to study me for a moment before saying reassuringly. "You look great Skylar. Right Seojun?" I give her a slight look as Seojun says simply. "Yeah you look good." My cheeks tint a slight pink but I give a soft "thanks." Suho pulls out and starts driving us to the carnival I chatting with Jukyung about fashion and makeup. "I'd love to be a stylist or something." Suddenly Seojun speaks up. "I could use a stylist and makeup artist for my photo shoots and everything." I look at him a little surprised. "Really?" He nods and I smile happily. "Thank you so much!" He shrugs it off and we soon reach the carnival we all getting out and start heading for the entrance I going to reach for my wallet as Suho pays for him and Jukyung only to be immediately surprised when Seojun pays for me and him both I frowning slightly. "You didn't have to do that." He shrugs looking at me with a raised eyebrow. "Do you even have any money?" I frown slightly. "Yes I have a little bit saved up." He shakes his head. "Keep your money incase you need it." I blink my heartbeat speeding up a little before I say a little appreciatively. "Thank you." He waves me off then I notice that Suho and Jukyung aren't around I immediately frowning. "They ditched us." He blinks before letting out a sigh. "Let's go walk around." I nod and skip at his side as we walk around the carnival chatting occasionally as I look around only to stop when I spot a little brown teddy bear wearing a leather jacket I immediately bouncing on my feet in excitement. "It's so cute!!" I then notice the game involves shooting a basketball while timed and my face falls. "Oh. Never mind." I go to walk off when my hand's suddenly grabbed and I'm tugged over to the booth I gaping when Seojun pays to play he taking the basketball and when the game starts he immediately starts shooting the ball as much as possible I impressed only for the buzzer to go off signaling the end of the game and the man looks at the points before saying cheerfully. "We have a winner. Choose your prize." He chooses the bear and then turns to me handing it over I blinking in surprise. "But you won it." He shrugs me off. "You wanted it and I don't do stuffed animals." I immediately protest a little. "Still you can give it to Gowoon or your mom." He rolls his eyes before gently but firmly pushing it into my hands. "Just take it Skylar I won it for you." I take the stuffed animal hugging it against my chest and say a little shyly blushing. "Thanks Seojun I love stuffed animals." Before he can say anything the man from the booth says a little harshly in disgust. "Disgusting faggots. One acting like an overgrown child over a stuffed animal and the other some badass wannabe." I flinch a little while Seojun tenses up he soon looking pissed off. "Oh you're going to regret opening your mouth." He steps forward his hands in fists ready to be used I saying sharply after he grabs the man's shirt. "Seojun don't! Leave it alone he's not worth it!" He turns his head slightly to look at me and I give him a pleading look silently begging for him to stop. He pauses for a moment before letting out an angry sigh he letting the man go before he walks back to me gently grabbing my upper arm and leads me away. It's quiet between us before I speak up. "I'm sorry." He stops and turns to me with a frown before saying sternly. "Don't apologize for being yourself. That man was an ass and you should have let me beat some manners into him." I give him a slight look. "Seojun I'm not getting kicked out of a carnival or possibly arrested." He goes to say something when my gaze focuses behind him I looking curious. "A Ferris wheel huh. I've never been on one." Seojun raises an eyebrow at me before he grabs my free hand and leads me over to the line I blinking as we're quickly let on we getting in and buckle up. We then start moving I looking out in awe. "So cool." It's quiet as I observe things outside when suddenly Seojun speaks up. "You know whenever you mention living in America you never mention friends." I tense slightly before I turn my head to him. "I didn't have any." He frowns slightly at that. "Really? Not one friend?" I shake my head no. "The girls hated me and the guys thought I was a freak and was scared that I'd make a move on them. I miraculously had a boyfriend for a few months but he was a dropout and my parents hated him because he was a mechanic and they thought I could do better than a poor high school dropout who works on cars." He frowns slightly at that. "You mentioned being bullied how bad was it?" I'm quiet before I say anxiously. "Considering the fact one of the bullies threatened to murder me and my brother and the students gave him my address and directions to my house I'd say it was pretty bad. I'm grateful I was able to come here and my brother moved and upgraded his security system." He looks at me slightly horrified. "They seriously gave away information about your house to someone who threatened your life?" I nod and the Ferris wheel stops I seeing it's time to get off we getting out I hugging the stuffed bear to my chest and change the subject after checking my phone. "Jukyung and Suho are ready to go." He frowns but nods and we head back to the entrance I immediately rushing over to the girl I giving her a cheerful smile. "Look at the teddy bear I got." She smiles cooing over it. "How'd you get it?" I blush and nod towards Seojun she letting out a quiet squeal. "Oh my gosh I think he likes you." I shake my head. "I'm sure he doesn't." She goes to say something when Suho gets our attention we heading back to the car where we get in and Suho drives Seojun and I home I wishing the couple goodbye before getting out of the car and head inside wishing Seojun a goodnight before heading to my room when I change and clean the makeup off before I climb into bed slowly falling asleep.
