(Jameson's POV)

Gabs still wasn't back.

I don't know if I should be worried or not, because she took Liam with her. But still. She's been gone for a while now, past dinner. I mean, she said not to wait for her. Maybe I should call her, just to check up on her.

As soon as I had this thought, my phone rang. I pulled it out and saw it was Gabi calling me. I wonder why. Hopefully she's not injured.

I quickly pressed the green answer button, relieved to hear her voice.

"Jameson?" She asked. I grimaced. She used to always call me Jamie.

"Hey," I responded. "You okay?"

"Yep. I was just calling to let you know that Liam and I were going to be spending the night at a hotel, so there's no need to worry about us. Please tell the others," Gabs said. I smiled. She was always thinking about other people.

"Of course," I reassured her. We didn't say anything for a few moments. "Um," Gabi hesitated. "I'll see you tomorrow, Jameson." Click! She hung up.

"Dude," Xander said from behind me. I whipped my head around, sending a glare at him. He ignored it.

"You need to work on your phone call skills. That was painful," Xan told me, a playful smile dancing on his lips.

"I agree," Nash said, stepping out from behind Xander. "That really was painful." I groaned. "Grayson, I know you're there!" I called to the spot over Xander's shoulder. He chuckled.

"He's actually not there. He didn't want to get caught up in... whatever is going on between you and Bri," Xander said, both him and Nash looking at me knowingly.

I flushed slightly. "There's nothing going on between me and Gabs," I told the two. "And even if there was, it's not any of your business."

"So there is!" Xander shouted. Nash laughed. I glared at them both.

(Gabriella's POV)

I opened my eyes, hating that I most likely had to go back today. Back to Hawthorne house, with all the people that were interesting to say the least.

Back to worrying about every little thing. Sometimes, I wish I could erase my memories. Forget everything that's happened to me and Matt.

There was a knock on my door. I thought it was Liam, so I yelled, "Come in!" The person who stepped inside was not Liam.

"Xander," I groaned. "What the hell are you doing here?" The youngest Hawthorne brother grinned at me. I was still laying in bed with my pj's, so I turned to my side and hauled the blanket just a little more over me.

"I'm here to have fun! And you're gonna have fun with me!" Xan exclaimed. I groaned again. "I'm here on break. From life. Breaks from life aren't allowed to happen often, if not at all, which means I get to choose whatever the hell I want to do. I'm choosing to sleep through the day, read Pride and Prejudice--"

"For the hundredth time," Xander slipped in. I glared at him, and continued. "And watch The Titanic while eating a large tub of ice cream. Nowhere on my list does it say that I will be spending time with a single human being."

Xander gave me a look that said if-you-don't-come-with-me-right-now-I-will-inflict-the-pain-of-bringing-all-my-brothers-into-this, which made me throw the covers over me and bolt to the walk in closet I had in my hotel room.
