Ridge was waiting in the waiting room for Shayna who was in the hospital room of the blonde woman who was found unconscious in Shayna's suite, oblivious to who the blonde woman was.

Shayna came out of the woman's hospital room in a snit by the time she reached Ridge.
"Everything alright?" Ridge asked her, But Shayna wasn't paying attention.
A few minutes with no replay, Ridge asked again, "Shayna is everything alright?"
"You look worried?" Ridge asked concerned. "Do you want to go get a bite to eat?"
"Um, sure," Shayna said as Ridge escorted her to his car as they headed to Il Giardino's.
Meanwhile, Caroline (the younger) stunned Thomas with her confession that Rick was Douglas' father.

"I can't believe this?" Thomas said looking at the DNA results Caroline handed him.
"Well, believe it. Now hand over my son," Caroline demanded, as Douglas looked shocked that Thomas wasn't his father.

"Mom, what are you saying," Thomas asked his back-from-the-dead mother. "He's not my father?"
"I'm sorry, baby, I know this is a huge shock to you," Caroline said apologetically, "first you learn your mother is alive and then your father isn't who you thought he was?"
"Will I still get to see him?"
"Of course, baby, I don't want to totally tear you apart from the only man you thought as your father?"
"What about Hope?"

"Hope is another story!" Caroline said, sneering at Hope, "I'll have to reconsider Hope's influence in your life."
And, later, Lt. Dep. Baker shows up at Forrester Creations just in time as Ridge and Shayna got back from their lunch to find him giving Brooke her Miranda rights and hauling her to the LA County Jail.
