Douglas arrived home after school with exciting news for his dad and mother. But his news was soon forgotten when he accidentally walked in on his parents' indecent actions.
"I'm sorry, dad. Mom." Douglas said, before excusing himself from the room, but inside, happy that his parents were finally together, despite the hurt he knew Liam must be feeling.
"Omigosh! I can't believe Douglas walked in on us?!" Hope said to Thomas as she covered herself up.
"Look at this way," Thomas replied. "He seemed genuinely happy for us."
"Yeah, he did, didn't he?"
But their happiness would be short-lived as Caroline was making her way back to L.A. .....
Meanwhile, Ridge came home to Brooke, who was none too pleased to see him back home, unaware of the threat to her future happiness.
Ridge kissed Brooke, but his thoughts were on Shayna.
Back at FC, Taylor found Shayna in Ridge's office working on designs, where she decides to flesh out just who Shayna Rennie was.
"Ms. Rennie, I was wondering if we could take some time to have lunch together."
"Gee, I'm kinda busy with these designs."
"Well, I'm sure Ridge will allow his new designer to take a lunch break?" Taylor reasoned.
"You're right," Shayna agreed. "And I am getting a little famished."
"Well, that settles it then." Taylor adds. "How about lunch at Il Giardino's?"
