A New Love for Ridge: A B&B Fanfiction

Chapter 2

After an eventful business trip, the HFTF crew makes their way back to Los Angeles, with Brooke and Ridge in jubilation with their reunion and Hope unknowing having to face an outraged Liam after he witnessed her kissing Thomas in Rome while trying to locate her on a romantic gesture to surprise her.

Meanwhile, Taylor runs into the new Forrester intern making herself at home in Ridge's office.

"Ridge..." Taylor began to say when she let herself into his office hoping to find him back from his business trip to Rome, and finding some woman behind his desk. "I'm sorry, who are you?"

"I'm the new intern, Shayna Rennie." She says, introducing herself to Taylor.

"Oh, I see, but what are you doing in Ridge's office?"

"Oh, Ms. Forrester said it was alright to make myself comfortable?" Shayna explained.

"In the co-CEO's office?"

"Well, she did mention I would be working closely with Mr. Forrester?"

But as Taylor was in the middle of grilling the new intern, Ridge enters his office after he leaving Brooke back at home after their return to L.A.

"Am I interrupting something?" Ridge asks. "And in my own office?"

"Ridge, you're back!" Taylor says enthusiastically. "How was Rome?

"It was eventful, but I'll let you know later how later." Ridge explains. "Who is the new lady?

Ridge couldn't take his eyes of the beauty sitting behind his desk despite his promise to Brooke in Rome, something Taylor noticed immensely.

"I'm Shayna Rennie." Shayna introduced herself to Ridge. "Your daughter said I could make myself at home here upon hiring me here."

"Well, I'm glad to meet you, Ms. Rennie." Ridge said intrigued by the new intern. "May I see some of your designs?"

Ridge muses as he looks over Shayna's designs, "Impressive. My daughter knows how to pick our designers?"

"Thank you." Shayna replies. "I'm glad you like them."

"Ridge, can we meet for lunch later. I need to tell you something." Taylor asks him.

"Yes, as soon as I'm done here with Ms. Rennie.

Meanwhile, a heartbroken Hope finds herself at Thomas' door after her fight with Liam when he confronted her about kissing Thomas.

"It's over, Thomas!" Hope cries out.

"What do you mean?" Thomas asks her, misinterpreting her. "What? I'm not needed at HFTF?"

"No, I need you now more than ever!"

"What happened?"

"Liam is furious at me when he came to Rome to surprise me and witnessed our kiss!"

"I tried to explain that it meant nothing, but it was just in the heat of the moment, but he didn't buy it. He called me out for my betrayal and we got into a huge fight."

"I'm sorry, Hope." Thomas said soothingly. "Is there anything I can do for you?"

"Just hold me." Hope cries on his shoulder, which leads to more passionate kissing as the two wind up heading to the bedroom for some passionate lovemaking.

Elsewhere in the world, Caroline is watching the action in L.A., something she has been doing since being held against her will by Rex Brady (played by Kyle Lowder), hired by Rick to get his ex-wife back after his divorce from Maya Avant fizzles out, while trying to make her escape and get to L.A. to claim her son, Douglas. She can't believe the damage that Hope and Thomas have done to her son! Come hell or high water, they will rue the day when she gets back to L.A.!!!
