Exam season began and Sarah and her friends would gather in the library to study. Sarah's forte is biology, so she explained that subject to them while her other friends helped with other subjects such as history or chemistry. One day while studying at home for the calculus test, she realized that she hadn't thought about time travel for a few days and began to feel guilty. He was supposed to focus his attention on that and now they were taking a back seat. He promised himself that as soon as he finished his exams he would rededicate his attention to going back in time and so it was.
Over the weekend, once he knew that he had passed all the exams with good grades, he tried a trip back in time, this time to Christmas 2021. She sang at the top of her lungs "Merry Christmas", "Rudolph the reindeer" and other carols with her family, they played board games, but one of her aunts got angry when she lost in the UNO, then everyone enjoyed the freshly baked turkey along with the fruit punch and pasta. In the end they were all quite satisfied, but as soon as another of their aunts brought the apple salad and the wrapped child to the table, they all forgot that a few moments ago they couldn't fit one more bite. It was a good Christmas; it was quite cold that year and the whole family agreed to wear ugly sweaters.
Sarah wanted to take advantage of an opportunity when she was alone with her grandmother, but she didn't consider Christmas a good time to tell her to go to the doctor, so she started talking about how much she liked the sweater she gave her. Soon her cousins and aunts joined in the conversation and the house was once again filled with the laughter of the family. When midnight came, Sarah thought it was a good time to return to her present. Once again, he had not succeeded, but he would have the whole month of October to keep trying.
The Johnsons' house and all the neighbour's homes were soon filled with Halloween decorations, pumpkin lanterns, window cobwebs, zombies, and decorative witches. Sarah loved Halloween, she loved dressing up, watching "Hocus Pocus" or "Halloweentown" and all the Disney specials, she just loved the vibe that the time brought. Sarah spent that month enjoying her last months in high school, but also going back to the past to change the future. The latter was causing him to become anxious.
She had been trying to convince her grandmother all month, but every time she returned to her present, the result was the same. She couldn't get her grandmother to attend to her in time. Every time she returned from the trips she returned with the hope that this time it would have worked and that her mother would come into her room to tell her that her grandmother was on the phone in case she wanted to talk to her. But that never happened. One day she was in her room and came to the conclusion that she was the key. Her grandmother. During all this time it had never occurred to him to seek help from her. The person who always had a solution to problems and to whom everyone turned when they had doubts.
I already knew what to do. He picked up the watch a second time that day and turned the hands. This time she returned to July 2022, once again at her grandparents' house. She ran to the living room where she knew her grandmother would be and sat down next to her. Her grandmother told her that they had to watch the new episode of "Don't put it on", a fashion show that the 2 liked to watch in which they helped people have a makeover. Sarah nodded effusively and told him that she had to ask him a question first. He began by telling her that it was an assignment for her philosophy class, and said, "Suppose you find out that you are sick and they tell you that they give you only a few months to live, but a magical genie comes along and tells you that he helps you travel in the past to avoid that disease, what decision would you make?" His grandmother stared at him for a few minutes, thinking that his philosophy class was a little strange.
