Jacob was sitting on the couch, reading and drinking tea. He had a splitting headache from his hangover. He was still worried Gypsy was still upset. Suddenly Jacob heard that stairlift. Gypsy cleared his throat.
"Morning...Jacob..". Jacob looked,
"Morning, sleepyhead, Breakfast is on the table for you, it's probably cold by now..But you can heat it up..". Gypsy sighed,
"Okay". He went over and saw waffles on the table, he grabbed the plate and put it in the microwave. Once it was done, he took it out, He sat and ate breakfast. He was a little too scared to eat, But he was hungry, so he ate anyway. Jacob puts his bookmark in his book. He walks over, he grabs medication from the medication cabinet. He puts the pill bottle down on the table.
"My watch beeped, but because you were sleeping I couldn't give your medicine" Jacob explained. Gypsy nods, He puts his hand out for Jacob to put a pill in it. Jacob puts the pill in it, Gypsy takes it. Gypsy then goes back to eating, he wasn't very happy with Jacob at the moment. Last night, with what happened, Gypsy didn't want anything to do with Jacob. Jacob sighed.
"I know you're mad at me for hitting you, and yelling at you....I guess...I kind of lost it last night...I should've let you explain.". Gypsy looks up at Jacob.
"I forgive you.", Jacob ruffles Gypsy's hair, and Gypsy chuckles, Jacob then looks at Gypsy. He noticed Gypsy was not wearing his glasses.
"No glasses today?",
"... I didn't feel like wearing them..",
"Alright, that's fine bud, hey I'll be right back, I'll be outside if you need me", Gypsy nodded. Jacob went outside into the backyard.
Later, Jacob had come back inside, He noticed Gypsy wasn't downstairs, and he had to tell Gypsy something. "Gypsy come downstairs please!" Jacob calls. Gypsy signs and goes downstairs,
"Yes?" He says nervously.
"So, later we're gonna go to Lexi's house, and Lexi says you can hang out with her two cousins",
"I can hang out with other kids again?",
"Mmm hmm, and They're your age", Gypsy smiled, Jacob knew that the last time Gypsy got to hang out with kids around his age was way back in 2006 with his friend Nikolaus Henderson. Gypsy was excited to be able to meet other kids his age. Jacob was excited he got to hang out with Lexi for once.
Later, Jacob was pushing Gypsy's wheelchair, walking to Lexi's house. Once they arrive, Jacob knocks on the door, and Lexi opens it.
"Oh, Hey Jake," Lexi says,
"Hey, Lex". Lexi looks down at Gypsy,
"Hello, Gyps!",
"Hi!". Lexi pats Gypsy on the head. Jacob and Gypsy come in.
"So, Gypsy did Jacob mention to you my two younger cousins?", Gypsy nods,
"Great, you can hang out with them, that way you're not bored while me and Jacob hang out",
"Okay". Lexi looks at the stairs,
"Rebecca! Come down here!" She calls.
"Okay!" A young girl says. Just then a girl around Gypsy's age comes downstairs.
"Rebecca, this is Gypsy, Jacob's brother," Lexi said.
"Oh, you said he was coming over with Jacob," Rebecca says.
"Mmm Hmm, Is it okay if he hangs out with you and Elliott while I and Jake hang out?" Lexi asks.
"Oh, of course, Come on Gypsy, I'll introduce you to Elliott," Rebecca says.
