While Beyoncé was on her walk with YN, her friends Kelly, Michelle, Solange, and Angie were lounging by the resort's pool, enjoying the sunny day. They had been giving Beyoncé and YN plenty of space, aware that something special was blossoming between the two, but that didn't mean they weren't curious about what was going on.
"So, when do you think she's going to spill the details?" Angie asked, adjusting her sunglasses as she sipped on a fruity cocktail. "You know she's probably had some kind of amazing breakthrough with YN by now."
"Knowing B, she'll tell us when she's good and ready," Kelly replied, flipping through a magazine. "But I have to admit, I'm dying to know what's happening. I've never seen her this taken with someone so quickly."
Michelle nodded in agreement. "It's different this time. There's something about YN that seems to bring out a side of Beyoncé we haven't seen in a long time. She seems... lighter, happier."
"She does," Solange agreed, leaning back in her chair. "It's like she's finally letting herself enjoy life again, without all the pressure. And YN seems like the type who doesn't care about the fame or the spotlight. She just sees B for who she is."
"Which is exactly what she needs right now," Angie added. "After everything she went through with Jay, she deserves someone who's going to make her feel special and loved for who she is, not what she represents."
There was a moment of silence as they all reflected on how far Beyoncé had come since her divorce. It hadn't been easy for her—publicly or privately. The breakup had been a media circus, with everyone weighing in on her personal life. But Beyoncé had handled it with grace, putting on a brave face even when it was clear she was hurting.
"I'm just glad she's finally letting herself be happy," Kelly said softly. "It's about time she put herself first."
"And YN seems like the right person to help her do that," Solange chimed in. "She's grounded, real. I like her."
"You've only met her a couple of times," Michelle teased. "But I get what you mean. There's something genuine about her."
"Exactly," Solange said, a grin spreading across her face. "And from what I've seen, YN is head over heels for B. That's the kind of energy we need around her—someone who's all in, no reservations."
Kelly set down her magazine and leaned forward, lowering her voice as if she were about to reveal a secret. "You know what I think? I think B's finally found someone who isn't afraid to challenge her. YN seems like the type who isn't going to just agree with everything Beyoncé says. She'll push her, in a good way."
Angie nodded thoughtfully. "And that's important. B's always had to be the strong one, the leader. It must be nice for her to be with someone who can match her, who isn't intimidated by her success."
Michelle smiled, feeling a surge of pride for her friend. "You know what? I can't wait to see where this goes. B deserves every bit of happiness coming her way, and if YN is the one who can give it to her, then I'm all for it."
Solange raised her glass. "To Beyoncé—and to finding the happiness she's always deserved."
The other women echoed her toast, clinking their glasses together. They were all genuinely happy for Beyoncé, and they knew that whatever happened next, she had their full support.
As they sat back, enjoying the sun and the moment, they all shared a silent understanding—Beyoncé was finally coming into her own, not just as an artist or a public figure, but as a woman who was ready to embrace all the love and joy life had to offer.
"Now," Angie said with a mischievous grin, "the real question is, how long until she tells us about that first kiss?"
The group burst into laughter, imagining how Beyoncé would recount the moment. They knew she'd be coy about it, but they also knew that when she was ready to share, it would be a story worth hearing.
"Soon, I bet," Michelle said with a knowing smile. "And when she does, you know we're going to give her all kinds of hell."
"Of course," Kelly agreed. "That's what friends are for."
They all laughed again, the sound carrying across the pool area, mixing with the gentle rustling of palm trees and the distant sound of the ocean. It was a moment of pure camaraderie, a reminder of the strength of their friendship, and the deep love and support they had for each other.
For now, they were content to let Beyoncé have her time with YN. They knew she'd come to them when she was ready, and when she did, they'd be there—ready to celebrate, to support, and, of course, to tease her just a little bit.
Because that's what best friends do.
