Chapter 6

"Bolt i can't do this anymore i'm so tired. I just-

"Roxi it's because you are building up your strength mentally and physically. You need to practice for a long time. Don't worry overtime you will be able to go for over an hour."  

"Bolt i'm done for the day i can not lift anything else without getting a splitting headache. I need to go to get something to eat and go to bed."

He let out a sigh and i could hear how he was deciding if it was a good idea to let me have the night off. I thought of sending him a message to him but not speaking but more like emailing it to his brain. I pushed through to his brain and somehow i just spoke. 

Come on Bolt you know you wanna give me a break. 

Roxi? Are you really talking to me through your thoughts?

I guess i am. Surprise, i just thought of it actually. I just thought i could try it.

Well that's pretty impressive and freaky. 

Yeah well your face said it all.  I sent him an image of his face when i pushed through his mind to talk to him.

"How did you do that? I just saw how my own face looked when you were "talking" to me"

"Again i just thought of it sending like an email and i just somehow sent it to ya. Don't ask me how i did it cause i have no idea. I just think and then do."

"Well than i guess we can take a break now since you found a new ability and now i got to figure out how to work with you on that one."

I laughed and started to walk to the door. 

That girl is really mysterious but impressive. I can feel the power that is radiating off of her. That power is only going to grow stronger. I can feel it, she could be more powerful than i am. That liquid that they give us really does enhance our powers. It really did wonders to her. She is so strong and beauti-oh wait she can hear thoughts. I really hope she has her mind block up.

I blushed a little that he almost called me beautiful. I guess hearing peoples thoughts isn't so bad after all. 

I could hear his jogging foots steps catching up to me. "hey um Roxi? Did you hear my thoughts?"

I smiled a little."Yeah and thanks." 

"For what?" He gave me a puzzled look.

"For almost calling me beautiful." I gave him a smile and continued to walk to the door. 

"Listen can you teach me how to put up a mind block thing?" he was scratching the back of his neck.

"now why would i do that? It's more fun to hear your thoughts. They are entertaining to hear. Also i like seeing you embarrassed. It's cute." With that i ran to the door and stepped out of the Sanctuary.

"How was training with Bolt?" Andrea was sitting on the couch reading a magazine.

"It was  so tiring. I am not looking forward to doing it again tomorrow. At least i found a new ability." I started to walk to the kitchen.

"Wait what kind of ability?" She stopped reading and was now looking at me.

I really hope she isn't as powerful as i am. I want to be the leader around here. I'm tired of Breezy and Bolton running things. I want to have a say in somethings.

"I can send messages to people through there minds. I also can send picture like things." 

Great I'm thinking she is already as powerful as i am. There goes my shot at having Bolton and a spot to be leader.  I want them to respect me. I want power around here and not just this side person who follows every order that they give.

"You know Andrea I'm not trying to take anyone away from anyone. He doesn't even have an interest in you. You won't be leader when you are so power hungry. All i am hearing is how you want control and power. You don't seem to be caring what is best for everyone around here. I know i haven't been here fully conscious for a long time but i still can read minds and to tell you the truth Breezy and Bolton are way more powerful than you, and there hearts are way bigger than yours. So i would stop trying and get over yourself."

"For a girl who has been fully awake for only 1 day, you're quite brave to be talking to me this way. You don't know me. You don't know what i am capable of." She got up from the couch and was now an arm length away from me and i could feel the heat coming off of her. 

"I know what you can do, I'm not scared. I can take you down if i had to, but like you said i only been here awake for only one day. I don't think i should start anything on my first day of my new life." She let out a huff and walked off to her room. I think i made my first enemy.

"Thank God you said that to her." I let out a small smile. I turned around so i was facing Bolton.

"Really? I thought i was kinda out of place saying that to her. I mean it's only my real first day around here." He took a few steps towards me.

"No someone needed to do something. She was getting to bossy and was driving us all insane. Like you said she is power hungry and she isn't that powerful no matter how long and hard she trains. She just won't have what it takes to  beat us. She only has skill but not the strength."

 "I don't know Bolt she actually has her fire under control. I was in her head to read her thoughts and i saw some memories of her training and has some strength to her."

"Wait i didn't say she had no strength, I'm saying she isn't as strong as us. She is great at fighting and she certainly stand her own ground. Just not with people as strong like us.  It's kinda hard to explain but i hope you understand. "

"Yeah i get it. She is strong just not strong against us." 

"you got it, now lets get ready for bed we are both beat."

"Yeah just don't put your arm around me again." I looked up at him and gave him a half smile.

"No promises there princess." He gave me a smirk and we both walked to our bedroom.
