The Experiment

Chapter 7

"Princess...Roxi!" I woke up to Bolt talking in his sleep. Great and he was saying my name too. I sat up and looked at him. His eyes were twitching and he was sweating.

"Andrea don't. You are better than this, we are your friends." I think he was having a nightmare. I finally decided to wake him up.

Well easier said than done.

I tried shaking him and calling his name but nothing happened. So i finally gave up and dumped water on him. He finally shot up like a rocket and was now wide eye and bushy tailed.

"What the hell Roxie. I was sleeping."

"Well no shit, but you were talking in your sleep and it sounded like you were having a nightmare."

"Yeah i was but did you really have to wake me up?"

"Yup, it got kinda annoying when you kept yelling out my name."

"Sorry i, it was a nightmare. It had something to do with you and Andrea." He rubbed his face with his hands. He kinda looked stressed out form the dream.

"yeah i kinda got that from your sleep talking. Do you want to talk about it?"

"No lets just go back to sleep. I'm still pretty tired and now wet because someone just had to poor water on me." He gave me a smirk and laid back down.

"Well i tried shaking you and saying your name but nothing worked. By the way stay on your own side i don't want to get wet myself." I then laid back down but before my head hit the pillow i felt a little water drop hit my forehead. Then i felt another and another, and before i know it, it is was literally raining on me. Like down pouring.

"Payback is a bitch Princess." That asshole formed a rain cloud over my head. I took my glass that was on my nightstand and i let the rain fill it up and once it was all full i sat up and dumped it all over Bolt.

"Payback is a bitch Storm." I started laughing but i then stopped because Bolt pushed me down and was now on top of me.

"You know since we are both all wet, want to go swimming?" I looked at him in surprise.

"What? Go swimming? Where would we go...wait the sanctuary right?" I heard him give a light chuckle.

"You got it now come on." We both got up and when Thunders feet hit the ground his whole room lit up with blue lighting bolts.

"Wow i still can't get over how your room just lights up when you walk in or just get off of your bed." Again he just chuckled and grabbed my hand and we both walked out of the door. I couldn't help but feel lightning bolts up against my skin where he was touching me.

"Come on Princess you're such a slow poke." Really me a slow poke?

"What i don't think i'm a-" I was cut off my Bolt shushing me.

"You got to be quiet or the others will wake up." I nodded my head and continued to follow him.

We finally got in the sanctuary and we flipped the switch to say it's occupied.

"Come on i know where a different pond is." how many ponds are there in this thing?

"Okay but how far is it away?"

"It's kinda far away but not."

"Let me into your mind and let me see what the pond looks like i want to try something." He gave me a worried look but still nodded his head.

I went into his mind and found an image of what the pond looks like. It was absolutely breathtaking. His image had a willow tree over the water just like our usual pond but the pond was bigger and the sun was setting. The sky had so many colors it was amazing.

I finally opened my eyes. "Are you ready for this?"

"Ready for what?" i just smiled at him and made sure our hands were still together. i closed my eyes and remembered what the pond looked like i concentrated on it and thought about being there. I opened my eyes and i was now standing by the willow tree that hangs over the water.

"How on earth did you do that?" He had shock written all over his face.

"I got the image from your mind then i just thought about being here." I just shrugged like it was no big deal.

"Roxie you are one big mystery. You know that?"

"Well i do now. Can we please go swimming now?"

He laughed but then did something very expected. He actually gave me a real smile.

"yes Princess we can now go swimming." For the rest of the night we swam all night and laughed and just simply had fun for once.
