Chapter 16 and The End

Come on Roxie you can do this! Just focus on not being able to see yourself. Come on! 

I look at my hand and to my surprise it actually worked. I concentrated on my hair turning invisible. Soon I pictured my whole arm being invisible, and then Storm could no longer see where I was.

"Roxie you did it! I can't see you! I want to  try one more thing. So please show yourself."

I went behind him and showed myself  just when i jumped on his back. He instantly caught me and we both laughed. I kissed him on the cheek and got down. "Alright what is the last thing?"

"I want you to try to absorb my powers." I was now facing him.

"So you basically want me to take away your powers?" I was a bit confused and scared.  

"Yeah but you will be able to give them back to me. I promise, don't be scared. What you're going to do is touch my arm and feel the energy being sucked into you."

"Okay...but what if-" I was cut short

"There is not what if you're going to give them back to me."

I touched his arm and i felt the connection of are skin and i started to take away his powers. I felt more powerful and more energized, more alive. I looked up at storm to find him a bit pale. "Storm..."

"I'm okay it drains the other person a little when you take their powers away." 

"I'm going to give them back now." I was just about to touch his arm again but he pulled back.

"No try them out a little. The power i have is amazing. Go on make thunderbolts and storms."

So i did but a little different them him. I looked at him and smirked. I walked a little ways away from and jump up and pounded the ground. A huge crackle sound boomed through the sanctuary and it lit up for a bout 2 seconds then went back to dusk. I turned around to Storm and the look on his face was priceless.

"How did you do that?" His jaw was dropped open and his eyes were super wide.

"You never punched the ground?" I gave him a confused look. I mean i saw that in the movies and decided to try it. 

"Well i have but that never happened. That was the biggest lighting bolt i have ever seen and that is my power. So how did you do that?"

"I just made all the energy come out when i hit the ground, That's it ."

"Can i have my power back now so i can try that?" I  laughed and took a few steps toward him. Instead of touching his arm i went up to him and kissed him. I made all of his powers go back to him and i felt a little drained. We pulled apart and smiled at one another.

"Feel better now?"

"Yes much I feel more complete with my powers."

He stepped away and started walking away but as he got ready to jump we heard Lily screaming our names. We looked at each other alarmed. Storm rushed over to me and we teleported to the door.

We got there and we saw Lily crying her eyes our. "Lily sweetheart, what's happening?"

"Andrea is back and she...she..." She couldn't speak she was crying so bad. Without another word i told her to stay in there and Storm and i went to go see Andrea.

Storm and i walked through the door and to our surprise Lily was right. Andrea was standing there with flaming hands and hair. "Oh Roxi you finally came to great me. How wonderful." She through her first flame ball at me but I was quicker, i put up my shield. I made a purple energy ball in my hand and let down my shield to blast the ball at her. It took her by surprise and knocked her on her ass. I took that to my advantage and made a heavy energy net to keep her down. I touched her arm and absorbed all her power. I let her up and her face was pale.

"What did you do to me?" She sat up but she didn't have the strength to stand up.

"I made sure you could no longer hurt anyone ever again. You don't deserve these powers. Someone like you should not even live." Her eyes got wide thinking i was going to kill her.

What is she going to do to me?

 i bent down so i was face to face with her and looked her in the eyes. I pushed into her mind and rearranged all her thoughts. I made her forget all of us and the the memories of her having any powers. I told her to go to the facility to where Storm saved me from and told her to tell them that she was special. 

I drew back out of her mind and she got up and walked away. She stood up and started walking out of the house and down the steps.

After we saw her leave our lives became safer.

A Year Later

"Storm Come on we are going to be late to our own wedding!"

"I'm coming." I saw Storm coming down the stairs in his tux and i couldn't help to stare at him. He looked damn fine. 

"you look gorgeous." My face turned a bit red and i could feel butterflies in my stomach.

I grabbed his hand and teleported us to the wedding. To my, his, and all of our guest I teleported us to the front of the alter. 

"Well Roxi we aren't late now." We both laughed and so did everyone else. That day we got married and we continued on saving the world one person at a time. We no longer needed to be in the sanctuary even though we still called that place home.  We traveled the world helping people like us cope with their powers and take powers away with the ones who were no longer able to carry their powers. I would give people who deserved something special in their lives powers but the one i held onto was still flaming up inside me.

Hey so I would like to thank everyone who has read my short story. I am super sorry for the short ending and i know it's kinda crappy.
