Chapter 19

Author's pov

The boy looked up at her face and smirked, acknowledging the affected his actions had on the girl.

Just then the elevator stopped and it's door opened.

Y/n quickly but carefully got rid of Jaehyun's grip on her arm through simply taking his hand in hers.

She then pulled him out on the floor.

When she noticed Jaehyun looking at their hands she looked at them too and realised her move.

Embarrassed she let go of his it and in order to hide her face she started to act as if she was searching for her keys.

After she had made sure her face was less red than before she took them out, walked to the door and unlocked it.

She cast a quick glance at Jaehyun who was still looking at his hand and after opening the door she tapped his shoulder and motioned him to step inside.

The boy smiled at her as he walked in.

He halted shortly after the door step to take in his surroundings.

The couch in the corner of the room looked comfy so he decided to plop down there.

After locking the door again Y/n looked for Jaehyun.

She found him on her sofa.

Slowly she walked towards him.

When she stood in front of him she cleared her throat, gaining the attention of the boy who was quite dazed by her living room.

"Yeahhh...", she said not knowing how else to start a conversation, "I-I still have some lunch leftovers..w-would you like to eat a little"

Jaehyun smiled and nodded, getting off of the comfy couch.

With his positive answer Y/n turned around and walked into the kitchen to heat the leftover food a little.

After a few minutes she came back and found Jaehyun sitting at the dining table.

She placed the pot on the table and a table besides it.

Then she carefully put some of the ratatouille on it and pushed it towards the boy.

"Good appetite", she said smiling.

For some reason she felt like a girlfriend making food for her boyfriend.

Realising what she just thought the girl blushed dark red and quickly turned to excuse herself to the bathroom or something.

She was stopped by Jaehyun.

"Where are you running of to?", he pouted, "Won't you stay with me??"

Y/n looked at him her face still flushed.

"A-actually I just wanted to...get something"

The boy looked at her pleading.

"Can't that wait till later??"
