Wajdan Malik, the gruff but lovable businessman, had been making an effort to win over his wife, Dua's, heart. Despite their rocky start, he was determined to show her that he was more than just a grumpy husband. He had been observing her, learning her likes and dislikes, and was now ready to put his plan into action.
Next morning, as Dua was getting ready for her college, Wajdan surprised her by bringing her favorite breakfast - pancakes with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. He had even gone to the trouble of making them himself, much to Dua's delight.
"Wow, Wajdan! You made my favorite breakfast!" Dua exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Wajdan smiled, feeling a sense of satisfaction at seeing her happy. "I figured you could use a little pick-me-up before your college," he said, handing her a plate.
Dua took a bite, and her eyes widened in surprise. "Mmm, these are amazing! You're a natural in the kitchen."
Wajdan chuckled, feeling a warmth in his chest. "I'll have to add cooking to my resume," he joked.
As the days went by, Wajdan continued to surprise Dua with small acts of kindness. He would leave her sweet notes on her pillow, bring her favorite coffee from the café down the street, and even offer to drive her to her classes. Dua, who had initially been hesitant to accept his gestures, found herself looking forward to them more and more.
One evening, as they were watching TV together, Wajdan suddenly got up and disappeared into the kitchen. Dua was about to ask him what he was doing when he returned with a tray of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.
"I made these for you," he said, setting the tray down in front of her. "I know how much you love cookies."
Dua's heart skipped a beat as she looked at the tray. No one had ever gone to such lengths to make her happy before. She felt a flutter in her chest, and her eyes met Wajdan's, filled with gratitude.
"Thank you, Wajdan," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "You're really making an effort to make me happy, aren't you?"
Wajdan's expression softened, and he nodded. "I want to make you happy, Dua. I want to be the one you turn to when you need something. I want to be your partner, your friend, and your husband."
As they watched the movie, they chatted and laughed together. Dua was giggling at the silly jokes and Wajdan was smiling at her reactions.
"I love this movie," Dua said, snuggling deeper into Wajdan's side. "It's so funny."
"I know, right?" Wajdan replied, squeezing her shoulder. "I thought you'd like it."
As the movie continued, they started to get more engrossed in the story. Dua was completely absorbed in the romance unfolding on screen, and Wajdan was enjoying watching her reactions.
