The office buzzed with the usual activity of employees typing away at their desks, phones ringing, and the chatter of colleagues catching up on work and personal life. Amidst the busy atmosphere, one corner of the office held a conversation that was a stark contrast to the routine sounds around it.
In a small, brightly lit room, two people sat across from each other, leaning over a cluttered table filled with papers, color swatches, and a laptop. Sophia, with her vibrant personality, was bubbling with excitement, her voice rising with enthusiasm.
"I want to plan Dua's birthday to be the best ever!" Sophia declared, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
Ali, who sat opposite her, rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Okay, we will plan this accordingly," he replied, trying to gauge the scope of what Sophia had in mind.
"We also need to include her cousins: Ayesha, Zain, and Omar. They're essential to make this celebration special," she continued, already mapping out her ideas in her head.
"Hmmm," Ali pondered, tapping his fingers on the table. "We have only three days left. So, we have to hurry up." He looked at Sophia, half-amused, half-impressed by her determination.
"I'll call them today and tell them to meet us at my place," Sophia said, her mind racing with ideas.
"Byee, see you later!" Ali waved her off as she stood up, ready to leave.
"Byee!" she called back cheerfully, stepping out of the cabin, her thoughts still whirling with plans for Dua's upcoming birthday.
Meanwhile, Dua was deep in conversation with her friend and colleague, Aliya, in another part of the office. They were discussing their latest project when Dua noticed Sophia striding towards them.
"Hey, Aliya, I'll catch you later," Dua said, cutting off their conversation and walking toward Sophia with a wide grin.
Sophia greeted her with a warm embrace. "Hey, Dua!" she exclaimed, excitement evident in her voice.
As they pulled away from the hug, Sophia's eyes sparkled with warmth. "How's it going?" she asked, genuinely curious.
Dua shrugged, her expression turning slightly bored. "It's going," she replied, the hint of exhaustion creeping into her tone. "Just trying to get some work done."
"I know the feeling," Sophia said, her voice filled with empathy. "Sometimes it feels like the work never ends, doesn't it?"
"Definitely," Dua said, her eyes narrowing slightly. "But how can you come here? I thought you were busy with work."
"I wanted to meet you! But I didn't find you anywhere, so I went with Ali to his cabin," Sophia explained, a hint of frustration lacing her voice as Dua sighed.
"I feel like I'm drowning in paperwork and meetings," Dua confessed, her face showing the stress she had been feeling lately.
Sophia smiled, her eyes glinting with mischief. "Well, maybe I can help take your mind off things. Want to grab some coffee with me?"
Dua's eyes lit up at the suggestion. "That sounds amazing! I could definitely use a break," she replied, her voice filled with newfound enthusiasm.
