"NO, I'M NOT DOING THIS AGAIN!" stated Wednesday after looking at a store Catherine suggested around Budapest except it's interior relies more on color, highlighting the color 'red, gold, emerald green and Enid's favorite color; rose gold pink'.
"Oh come on Wednesday! It will be like Rave'N except we will be surrounded by vampires and Dracula himself, I suppose that would be YOUR definition of fun than mine". Enid conceded, facing towards a reluctant Wednesday.
"You had a gala called the Rave'N? That sounds like an interesting name for a ball". Catherine mused, standing in the middle of the two girls.
"It is except things went completely sour in the end when one of the normies put a bloody prank on us" sighed Enid which made Catherine a little uncomfortable after picturing that on her mind.
'No, that was paint. They couldn't even spring for pig's blood". Wednesday flatly corrected then her eyes shifted into focusing on Catherine. "Is there a dress code for All Hallow's Eve?".
"Personally I've never been into one because humans were never invited until now that they got my mother but I bet they celebrate it as a traditional ball so expect the girls to wear dresses".
Wednesday silently grumbled in defeat as oppose to Enid who lights up with the thought of planning to dress up for a ball that will be a death sentence considering the demographic but if being on her shoes, her mentality going forward to this is: 'At least we die pretty'
"Then we have no time to waste! The ball could start at seven and we still need to have our hair and makeup done!". Enid takes Wednesday hand and tries to drag her in but Wednesday stops, yanking her hand off of Enid's grip. "Catherine, are you going to get dressed?".
"Wish I could but.. I need to heal up for the real battle. I wouldn't want to risk my body getting beaten up at a walk to the park, best for me to take the risk at a marathon. I'll probably dress up as a guy and stick with Carl for now".
"Where are they by the way?" asks Enid.
"They're hiding Frank at a hidden room at a cemetery as part of the plan of a fake exchange. I'm certain they already got themselves dressed up before we do". Wednesday still had second thoughts about dressing herself up for an event that could get her killed if she doesn't do it right.
Seeing Wednesday be extremely stubborn and blunt over choosing a dress is making Catherine more impatient so she finally snapped and firmly reminded her what's at stake. "I know this is not your go to things to do on the daily but Wednesday, remember you are going to pretend to be part of the band, playing the cello and I'm sure the girls will be wearing their prettiest dresses so in order for you to blend in and tricking them into thinking you're one of them. I suggest sucking up your endless groaning and getting things over with".
Breathless by the harsh words said by Catherine, her facial expression relaxed from staring flatly with a furrowed brow to slightly shooting her eyes up in bewilderment. Shaking her firm frame was Thing who tapped her by the shoulder, urging her to see something. Wednesday looked down in slight annoyance.
