CATHERINE SLEEPS ON HER SMALL BED WITH A DETAILED AQUAMARINE GREEN BLANKET with orange and gold circular pattern lining on the sides. As an order from her mother, Catherine is assigned to look after Enid and Wednesday by letting them sleep in the same room with her. Luckily there are three beds so two of the girls were able to claim one to recover peacefully before the next adventure first thing in the morning.

While Wednesday had other plans after midnight, trying to get through her thoughts about the responsibilities she will carry during her temporary confinement in 1887, Enid too have plans of her own but she won't be doing it alone.

"Pssstt! Catherine". Enid whispered while poking her arm as she is positioned bending both of her knees and sat at the left side of her bed. "Catherine, wake up! I need to ask you a favor". She then took her arm and slowly shakes her to wake the sleeping beauty up.

Catherine groans, yanking her arm away from Enid's grip and grumbled. "What do you want, Enid?? It's literally midnight! You should go back to sleep".

"That's the thing, I couldn't and now I desperately needed something to drink. Do you so happen to have a fresh carton of milk, if it's strawberry then that'd be ten times better!".

The sleepy princess sighed, throwing her body from resting on her right side to her back. Scratching the corner of her eyes before prying them open, "Not sure about strawberry but I think we have milk in the fridge. Why? You have insomnia or something?".

"I guess you could say that. It will be quick, I promise!".

"Why can't you go and get it on your own? Didn't we tour you around the house?".

"I was about to but I'm still not familiar with this place and this mansion can get pretty dark and gloomy, it's low key giving me the creeps. Who knows if a threat is nearby or what if it comes out to slice me before I look at them! You know?".

"Where's Wednesday?".

"She left! When I woke up, she's no longer in her bed!".

Catherine's eyes grows big in suspicion with the idea that Wednesday left the room and potentially left the mansion as well and if her mother knows that she was unable to look after Wednesday, terrible things could implode between the Valerious family. So she got up from her bed and slid her feet onto her brown boots.

"Let's go get your midnight drink". She says as she marches to the exit of her room with Enid happily following her.

Once they left the bedroom, they both notice that the main lights leading to the kitchen are now shut off. It's not entirely dark as a glowing blue moonlight shines through the windows, giving them a clear path on where to go.

But just for emergencies, Catherine took an oil lamp nearby as she guides the hungry teenage wolf through the corridors.

"What's going on?". Enid cocked her head.
