"So wait, if Dracula can't bring his children to life until the sun sets then we still have time to rescue Frank and Hyacinth before then?" asks Enid after hearing what Carl discovered during his stay in the castle, finding answers to Dracula's weakness.

"Precisely but there is more to that than what happens by sun down" Carl answered, lifting up a portrait of a respected and strong man wearing a knight's suit.

"Which is?". Xander cocked his head.

"That Count Dracula was actually the son of Valerious the Elder. The son of your ancestor".

"Everybody knows that. What else?" shrugs Anna, unamused as if that fact is already obvious for everyone including the teenage kicks.

"All right. Well". Carl brisk walked to pick up a scroll in which the group followed his path, opening it to reveal a missing piece of a glass painting, showing a picture of a tall but dark figure getting stabbed. "According to this rubbing...it all started when Dracula was murdered". He explained.

"Do you know who murdered him?" Gabriel asks.

"No, there's just some vague reference to the Left Hand of God". Carl clarified what the painting means and how it's connected to his findings before he dashed to the table full of books, maps and artifacts. He brought out a paper that had a few scriptures and numbers written on a top and a picture between a demonic figure presumed to be Dracula and a human knight.

"And in 1462, when Dracula died, he made a covenant with the Devil".

Gabriel smoothly takes the paper to study the image folded by Carl alongside Anna, they are starting to get a jist of how Dracula was able to live again after being killed in 1462

"And was given a new life" he continued.

"But the only way he could sustain that life was by drinking blood" Anna added. While a discussion is on session about Dracula and how to kill him, Wednesday remembered what Lilith revealed not too long ago. How she met one of the Devil's children through a family gathering after her father invited him and how she sacrificed her human life in exchange of being immortal and having supernatural powers through the devil's kid himself. She did it all to secretly avenge her best friend.
