Ella, devastated by her parents' death, had become a gloomy child. One day, she heard a bird crying in pain and began searching for it.
She found the bird trapped in a thorny bush and, despite the thorns hurting her hands, she carefully rescued it. With injured wings, the bird was unable to fly. Ella tended to its wounds and found hope in its recovery.
Several days later, the bird flew away without saying goodbye. Ella realized that, like the bird, people come into our lives for a time but eventually leave. The memories they leave behind are what endure.
Although life can feel lonely, it is not unhappy. Cherishing the moments we have with others and helping them can bring hope and meaning to our lives.
