More Death Dealers stormed in, their silver weapons gleaming, but Lena moved like a shadow, faster than any of them could react. Lena smirked, sensing Seraphina's terror. Instead of delivering the final blow, she released the hunter, letting her stumble to the ground.

Seraphina hesitated for a moment, then scrambled to her feet, retreating without another word. The grounds were blanketed with the corpses of over a dozen Death Dealers, drained of blood and scattered in grim testament to Lena's might.
As the sound of Seraphina's retreating footsteps faded into the night, Cassie exhaled, stepping out from behind the column. She walked over to Lena, her face a mix of awe and concern. "You let her go?"
