Gary was dead, Estella, Gregory, and Mark were missing- potentially dead as well, George and Marcus went through a portal to God-knows-where, and Brimmy and Dogpoo no longer had a house, meaning everyone had to find another place to stay. Damien looked around, trying to think of what to do. He asked, "Does this mean we have to go back to my house?"
"I'm not sure if that will be possible." Josh replied. "We don't know where George and Marcus went. That portal could've brought them anywhere."
"Well they'd have no reason to go to Hell, would they?" argued Damien.
Josh shook his head. "I doubt so, but who could've let them through that portal aside from you?"
Shrugging, Damien said, "The only other person who can is God, and I don't see why he'd do that. He's got no reason to work with them."
"But it would explain why he's been distracted, and why the two claim they won't be owning Yardale anymore- he's likely offering them some sort of higher position." Josh suggested.
"That could also explain Gregory's immortality. George and Marcus could've convinced God to give him that ability." Brimmy chimed in.
"Well what are we meant to do?" asked Pip. "If they're working with God, there's not much of a way to stop them."
Damien sighed. "I could go up to Heaven and see if I can find them. I might be able to figure out what they're planning." Without hearing any immediate objections, Damien opened a portal to Heaven and stepped through.
All he saw was emptiness.
No one was there. Last time he was in Heaven, it was crowded with people. Something was wrong.
Damien kept on looking around. He tried yelling, hoping someone would hear him. There was no response. He then decided to walk forward for a few minutes, trying to see if anyone was in the distance.
He began to see the shape of three people. He made a wasteful attempt to yell a hello to them- they didn't seem to listen. Damien stepped forward a few more steps until faces began to materialize and he realized who was before him.
He stopped.
One person was on the ground. It was God. He appeared to be dead somehow.
The other two standing above him were George and Marcus. They had killed God.
Damien didn't know what to do. Should he confront them? No- if they could kill God, they could kill him too. Should he hide and spy on them? Absolutely not- there was nowhere to hide, and-
They were looking at him. George and Marcus had noticed Damien.
Before he knew it, he was no longer in Heaven. How? He didn't open up a portal to walk out himself. They must've kicked him out, he assumed.
Did they take God's powers and gain the ability to block Damien from Heaven? Were they the ones who had completely emptied Heaven? And if so, where did they force the people in Heaven to go?
When Damien looked around, he knew. He was back in Hell, and it was suddenly much more crowded than usual- and everyone seemed horrified.
Then, they all seemed to notice him. They were no longer horrified. They were now furious. Before a mob of dead people could attack Damien, he opened up one more portal and went back to the ruins of Dogpoo and Brimmy's house.
"We cannot go back to Hell."
"Why not?" asked Dogpoo.
Damien paused for a moment to take a deep breath, trying to process everything he just saw. "George and Marcus are God now, and they kicked everyone out of Heaven and forced them into Hell. And now everyone in Hell thinks it's my fault and they probably won't let me into my house."
