Would you believe the one thing that held me up from updating was not knowing what to put on a grocery list?? Believe it :(

The updates are going to be slow going seeing as I'm new to writing, but I hope you like it. Sorry for any typos or misspelling! I try to proof read at least twice before I post chapters, but of course I still miss some things. Please leave some feedback I would love to hear what you think. Thanks so much for reading
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~After leaving the park, Izuku decided he'd walk around and window shop. While he was looking through the windows, he noticed that the shops on this side of town were better up-kept than the ones on his side of Musustafu. Then again that was to be expected. After passing up what had to be the third clothing store, Izuku saw a shop filled with plants. He'd never actually been inside a plant shop . His interest was piqued so he figured he'd go inside to take a look around. Walking through the door, he realized the shop was actually much larger than it looked from outside. With that being said, there was a massive amount of plants inside this building. Looking around he saw so many different plants of different sizes. There were tiny plants so small that they'd fit into his hand, and then there were really huge plants both taller and wider than his entire body. The larger plants seemed like they'd be a bit too much for him, so he headed toward a wall full of mini plants. The plants there were so adorably tiny and the tiny pots they were sat in made them even cuter. After about 10 minutes of looking through the many types of plants, Izuku settled for a small succulent plant and a cactus. He didn't know much about plants, but these didn't seem like they'd take too much effort so he figured they were safe. Turning around he was surprised to spot a very familiar, distinct head of blonde hair. Over in the section of huge house plants was Bakugo Katsuki and his parents. Ducking his head down, Izuku speed walked toward the register, hoping to make it out unnoticed. The cashier rang his items up and then he swiped his card, waiting for his receipt. Grabbing his receipt, Izuku headed toward the door, but just as he thought he made it out safe, his name was called from across the store.
Despite it having been many years since he'd last seen her, Mitsuki Bakugo had a very distinctive voice that could never be forgotten. "Izuku? Izuku honey, is that you?" Recognizing that there'd would be no escape, he turned around to see Mitsuki practically running towards him. Suddenly he was folded up into a tight hug. " It's been so long since I've seen you! How've you been? How is your mother? Are you guys doing all right?" Pulling back from the hug, Mitsuki held him by the shoulders and looked him over. " My goodness you've gotten so big! I've been telling Katsuki to invite you over for dinner, but I suppose I can't trust my brat to listen huh?" He took a step back, letting her hands fall in between them. " I've been okay auntie. How are you? Mother is doing fine. She got a promotion a while back, so she's been working more." The sight of her large grin and smile lines, so excited to see him, brought a helpless smile to Izuku's face. His smile faltered though once he looked over her shoulder and saw Kacchan scowling at him angrily. " Well, it was really good seeing you auntie, but I have to head home to make dinner." Izuku bowed after giving his excuses, and hurried out of the store. Behind him, he could hear Mitsuki yelling after him." Don't forget to stop by for dinner one day! You and your mother! Tell her I said hello and that I love you guys!" Izuku booked it out of there trying to put as much distance as he could between him and Kacchan.
With his purchases in hand, Izuku figured now would be a good time to head home for today. He'd had a pretty good day all things considered, and after running into Kacchan today he'd rather not risk anymore bad luck coming his way. Walking back to the subway station, Izuku boarded the train and settled in for the ride home. He opened reddit to look on the plant subreddit that he follows to check for tips to keep his two new companions alive. Reddit had some pretty good information and lucky for him he really didn't have a lot of work cut out for him. He'd made a really good decision in grabbing two succulent plants as they don't need much maintenance. Apparently the succulent only needed watering every other week and the cactus every 10 days. It was very much doable, so it seemed like he'd be keeping his plants for as long as possible. Izuku smiled as he scrolled down reddit and saw one user with a house full of plants. Who knows maybe that'd be him someday. He continued browsing as the people around him entered and left the train. Finally it came to his stop so he grabbed his bag and headed towards his apartment. The walk from the train station to his apartment was really calm and quiet. There weren't many people out so he saw maybe 5 people on his way. Izuku finally made it home and he hung his keys up and took his shoes off at the door. He walked through the apartment in the dark until he reached his room where he flicked the lights on. Closing the door behind him, he looked around to find a good spot for his plants. He didn't really have much in his room just his bed, his desk , and a bedside table. His bed was pushed into the furthest corner from the door and his desk was in the corner across from the bed. There was a good sized window that shed light onto his bed when the sun rose and it had a wide enough window sill for him to set his plants on. With that, the resting place for his plants was decided. He went off to the kitchen to put some water in a cup and came back to water each plant. Taking the cup back to the kitchen Izuku decided to look through the cabinets for something to cook. After all, he did give the excuse of dinner to escape Aunt Mitsuki earlier, he might as well let it be somewhat true. The refrigerator was already depressingly empty and looking into the cabinets he was only graced with a bag of rice and a few different packs of noodles. He had a bag of Harusame noodles, a bag of Udon noodles, and a bag of Soba noodles. The cabinets and the fridge were both bare, so Izuku decided he'd go grocery shopping while it was still bright outside. Closing the cabinet, he walked towards the living room and grabbed his collapsible wagon he bought a few years back for carrying his groceries home. Before he left he sat down on the couch to make a shopping list, that way he wouldn't forget anything he could have possibly needed.
GROCERY LIST:
~RAMEN
~BREAD
~TOFU
~CARROTS
~CUCMBERS
With that taken care of Izuku headed to the grocery store with his earphones in and his wagon in tow. The store, just like everything else in Musustafu, wasn't too far away for walking and Izuku never minded a good walk anyway. When he walked through the front door he saw the usual front counter cashier, Mrs. Aihua. She was around his mom's age and would always point him to the grocery items on sale whenever he came to shop. She was helping out a customer so he left her to work while he gathered his groceries. After all he'd see her when he headed to check out. He went to collect all the dry goods first so that way his cold items would still be cool by the time he made it home. He grabbed his bread first then headed off to get his rice, spam, nori seaweed, and ramen. Nothing was terribly priced especially as this was a small grocery store. The prices were actually very reasonable and by the time he grabbed all his cold items and made it to the front, Mrs. Aihua was ringing him up and total was only just reaching 4,000 yen. Once the meat was all added the total came out to 5,207 yen. He pulled his wallet out and inserted his card into the machine. Since he brought his cart he declined the shopping bags and loaded his groceries for the trip home. Waving his goodbyes, Izuku headed off home, wagon behind him and the sun steadily falling past the skyline.
