Loud, screeching, wailing sounds drug Izuku into the land of the living. It was 7 a.m. and Izuku was fumbling around like mad at the nightstand for his phone. The only thing on his mind was stopping his annoying, insufferable alarm from torturing his eardrums. Finally he found his phone and was able to shut it off. He laid in bed for a good 10 minutes before he decided to finally get up instead of going back to sleep. It was Saturday, but apparently he forgot to turn off his alarm so there would be no sleeping in for him sadly. He crawled out of bed and headed to the bathroom to pee and brush his teeth.

Back in his room he grabbed a satchel out of his closet. Since it was Saturday and he had nothing to do, he decided he'd go out to the forest. Izuku planned to spend most of the day outside, so he headed to the kitchen and grabbed a couple of water bottles and his onigiri he bought last night. Other than that he grabbed a small throw blanket and a light jacket just incase it got chilly. It was plenty warm outside recently, but it couldn't hurt to be safe.

After his bag was all packed for the day, he went back to his room and got dressed in some black shorts and a red 'Put your Hands Up Radio' Present Mic t-shirt. Grabbing his wallet, bag , and keys, he stuck his shoes on and headed out the door. It was about a 30 minute walk to get to the forest, so he figured he'd listen to music along the way. He pulled his earphones on as he left his apartment building, eventually leaving the neighborhood. He passed the corner store and after passing a few more storefronts, he was coming up on Dagoba Beach. As usual no one was really around, but one couldn't blame them seeing as trash wasn't the best view to stand around and look at.

Izuku hummed along to The Neighborhood as he made his way, observing the people around him when he could. There was a little girl walking with an older kid who seemed to be her brother. You might wonder how he came to that conclusion. Honestly it wasn't a farfetched conclusion, seeing as they had the same shade of dark blue hair. They were eating ice-cream and laughing as they made their way to wherever their destination was. There was also an older lady headed toward Izuku pulling a yellow basket of groceries behind her. It was quiet outside. Very little people were about, but those who were seemed to be cheery and peaceful at least. Izuku continued walking, and eventually it was just him again. Passing up a small shopping strip, Izuku took a turn and headed across the street toward the park he used to play at when he was little. A little ways away, at the back of the park, was the forest he was headed into. He wasn't worried about being seen or followed because no one seemed to ever be there and he only guessed it was because no one came to play at this park anymore.

Reaching the tree line he started to walk northeast. After a few minutes of walking, the trees were so thick you couldn't tell that there was a park back from where he entered. Ten more minutes passed of him walking through the forest and then he saw he was coming up on his clearing. In this area, the trees were a bit more spaced out than the forest around it. It wasn't terribly large, but it was a bit bigger than the size of the park that led him here. At the edge of the clearing was a huge old tree that had fallen many years before he was born. Despite it being so old it was strong and not even beginning to rot. Izuku passed the fallen tree and dropped his bag in front of it. He opened his bag pulling his blanket out to lay it on the ground and started unpacking his snacks and things.

Looking around he headed towards a thick bush a few feet away from the fallen tree. Here he had hidden a small plastic bucket with a lid. Inside he stored a sketch pad and an art kit he bought a few years back at the mall. It had color pencils, crayons, acrylic paints, and oil pastels. He learned, after bringing his art supplies to school one day, that it's better to just store it here where it's safe. Kacchan and his group really loved to destroy his things and it was a drain on his money having to constantly replace them. After all, art supplies aren't really the cheapest, especially if you get good quality products. The set he has now cost over 6,000 yen.
