CHAPTER 11: Welcome to 'Taivas'

NADIA's POV

I bit my lower lip while I was on the terrace of my room, watching Ackier got onto the yacht from a far. Looked like he's going home now after how many days of staying on the Amouretti island. Somehow, I couldn't help but to feel guilty of what I did.

I left him hanging with a raging hard-on and didn't face him after that no matter how many times he knocked on my door. I knew for sure that he's pissed off but I knew it's for the better.

"There he goes, Ace." I said with an almost inaudible voice as he was about to embark onto the yacht. Then, my heart skipped a beat when he suddenly stopped on his tracks before turning around and looked at my direction.

I gasped and wanted to hide but I knew that it was already too late for me to do so because he already saw me. He stood there, just looking at my direction for a few seconds before he finally got onto the yacht.

I groaned inwardly when my heart clenched painfully, thinking that I might not be able to see him again. After I did to him, I doubt that he would still want to return to the island and see me.

"Meow." I looked at Ace and got surprised when I saw that he was looking at the direction of the yacht as if he wanted to go there.

"Why, Ace? You want to go there and see him off?" I asked. I didn't expect this kind of reaction from him. Ever since he saw Ackier the first time, he was so aggressive towards him that he even attacked him. I even heard from Carol that Ace scratched him in the cheek the other day after I left them there alone in my room.

That added to the guilt inside of me because I didn't expect that Ace would actually attack him like that again. I only left Ace with him in bed that time to make fun of him but I didn't intend for him to get hurt.

"Hmmm. Looks like someone is sad and guilty." I got startled when I heard a voice from behind me.

"What the—Don't startle me like that!" I hissed and she chuckled. It was Tanya, holding a tray of food for me.

"Well, I knocked, Ms. Nadia, but you weren't answering. I thought, you were in showering so I just came in." She answered and then placed the tray on the table before looking at the direction of the yacht that Ackier was on.

"Don't get mad at me, Ms. Nadia, but I'm just so curious." I furrowed at her.

"About what?"

"About Mr. Savela. You look sad and guilty so why don't you go and talk to him before he leaves?"

"Why would I feel sad and guilty?" She crossed her arms across her chest and acted like she was thinking of any possible answer.

"Hmmm. I don't know. Maybe because Ace attacked him and it was because of you." She answered teasingly, trying her best not to laugh.

"I didn't know that Ace would attack him!" I answered defensively and Tanya laughed.

"Then, why do you look sad and guilty? Look, Ms. Nadia. The yacht is about to sail away." I averted my gaze and released a breath. Tanya has always been bold and frank type of a person that she says whatever she wants to say.

"It's okay. After what happened, I don't think he will return to this island anyway."

"I'm pretty sure, he will." I looked at her in wonder.

"And how did you know about that?"

She shrugged her shoulders. "Just a hunch. I'll be going now, Ms. Nadia. They're already waiting for me."
