Feeling the sun warming my face, I opened my eyes wishing that I would have closed the blinds last night. Pushing my blankets off, I climb out of bed and stumble towards the bathroom. After relieving myself, I head out to the kitchen and start the coffee pot. While waiting for it to finish for my coffee I eat a banana and head back to my room. I throw on some leggings and a baggy sweater, and grab my backpack before heading back to the kitchen. Setting my bag down on the couch, I walk back into the kitchen, and pull out the coffee creamer and a mug. As I'm pouring coffee into my mug, Nancy comes out and disappears into the bathroom. Smiling I finish making my coffee, and head over to the couch, as Nancy goes into kitchen to make herself a cup.
"Thank you for making the coffee," she says sitting next to me.
"No problem," I say pulling my toxicology book out and start working on the homework. Nancy looks at my book, and frowns, before she sets her mug down and goes to grab her homework. She was in the same classes as me, and wanted to be a veterinarian too. It was nice, we got to help each other with the homework, and it's the reason she got placed with me and Brittney. Nancy returned a minute later, sitting back down, and opening her book.
"So what did I miss yesterday?" She asked, looking up at me.
"Not much we just reviewed everything for the test next week. Did you get the homework assignment I sent to you yesterday?" I replied.
"Yep, I'm just glad that I only had to miss the one class yesterday, because of that stupid meeting," she said with a sigh.
"Oh yea, how did that go?"
"It was fine, long, and I got lectured about how inappropriate it was to punch him."
"That's ridiculous, you defended the girl he was messing with, he should be in a lot more trouble."
"Yea I know, but it doesn't help that he's the deans son, and they convinced that girl not to file charges."
"Wow, there is no way I would let him get away with it."
"Well what can we do. It didn't happen to us."
"True, but we could anomalously post it on the schools Facebook page, of course leaving the poor girls name out," I say with a grin.
"I like the way you think, but first let's get this homework done, and we still have the organic chemistry lab homework we weren't able to finish yesterday."
"Ok sounds like a plan."
An hour later and two more cups of coffee, we finish our homework, and as we're packing our bags up, Brittney finally makes an appearance. Nancy smiles at me and rolls her eyes, as Brittney goes into the bathroom. I shake my head and take my stuff back into my room, after putting my mug in the dishwasher. Grabbing my phone I return to the living room, taking my seat back up on the couch pulling my legs up. Nancy rejoins me a minute later with her phone, we head to the schools Facebook page after making fake accounts with fake emails, we blow it up with posts about the deans son, how he was caught sexually harassing a girl and how he was getting away with it, and how the dean bullied the girl into not pressing charges. Satisfied with our work, we sat back watching as messages of anger flowed in, it was getting a lot of attention and views.
"That should help," I said logging out and closing the app on my phone.
"Yea I'm surprised by how it's blowing up. I've already several people message me with links to it. Hopefully this will put a fire under the dean," Nancy said with a chuckle.
"Hey did you guys see these posts on the school's Facebook page?" Brittney asked, joining us in the living room.
"Yea, we just saw it. It's horrible that nothing is being done," I said.
"Yea, hopefully this will get them to do something," Nancy added, acting like it wasn't us too.
"Wow, to think this got posted right after that stupid meeting you had to go to, because you punched that dirt bag," Brittney replied, shaking her head as she went back to her room, already texting someone.
"Well I better go get ready for work. I'll see you later," Nancy said getting up.
"Ok, hopefully it's not too bad," I replied, grabbing my bag and heading to my room. After dropping my bag in my chair, I turned my tv on and relaxed in bed, flipping through channels. After settling on an NCIS rerun, I picked my phone up and was about to open up one of my games a message from an unknown number came.
