BRIGHT'S POV

My eyes got widened and I slapped my head the moment I realized what I just said. 'Destroy the entire world for you Win' like seriously Bright!? You actually said that!?

At this point I have to start maintaining my distance from Mike and Gun. They are the one who fill such cheesy stuff in my mind.

I cleaned the table and washed the dishes before making my way to Win's bedroom with a thermometer and his medicines.

I knocked before entering his room.He was laying on the bed with his eyes closed. He got up and smiled at me when he saw me standing at the door.

I took a seat on the corner of the bed.

The corners of my lips slightly curled upwards when I looked at his temperature. It was normal now but still Win had to take the last dose of medicine to recover completely.

"Win, you don't have much grocery left. Do you want me to get some stuff from the supermarket?" I asked.

"Oh yeah! I decided a grocery run as it was an off today!"

"You can make me a list of all the stuff you need and I will get them all." I said with a small smile.

"Bright..I don't want to stay alone. In case Lita and his father come to manipulate me today. I don't think I'm ready to face them. I need time for this." His smile faded.

It was good to hear Win saying what he wants. I don't want him to compromise if he's not ok with my decision. He can refuse and tell me what he wants right away.

I wanted the same. I don't want to leave him alone for a while. That's why I decided to say something before he asks me when I'm going to leave. I want him to go with me to Tu's party.

This will help him to get distracted from all his problems for a while and he will also be surrounded by a lot of people.

"Do you want to come with me? I think it would be great if you get some fresh air outside." I said.

"I'd love to!" He grinned.

WIN'S POV

I quickly got up from the bed and because of that sudden movement I felt a sudden pang in my head which made me need a support again.

Because of the instant dizziness I ended up falling on Bright.

I opened my eyes after some seconds only to find myself on top of Bright. His hands were wrapped around my waist.

I came back to my senses when I noticed Bright's breathe hitched which made me process my position and I got up quickly.

Oh gawdd!

I apologized before making my way towards my wardrobe and while picking my clothes I let out a breath which I didn't realise that I was holding for a while.

Before going to the bathroom I told Bright to get something for him from my wardrobe.

When I looked at myself in the mirror I realized that I was sweating and my face was all red. Is it because of the weather or my fever?

I took a quick shower and wore a red shirt with black pants.

I got out of the bathroom only to find Bright looking at the photo frames hung on the wall.

"What are you smiling at?" I said while standing next to him.

"They look...beautiful." He said while admiring the photos.

"You see that empty space? That was the spot I fixed for a family picture and it feels sad whenever I see that space empty." Bright looked at me with a sad smile.

Before Bright could say something a phone call took our attention. It was my phone ringing.
Bright just smiled at me and made his way towards the bathroom.

I picked the phone and I got a smile when I read the name of the person calling. It was from Toptap.

"Hey! All good?" He asked.
"Yeah kinda..When are you coming back. It's been so long since I last met you!" I said.
"Well..I'm done with the things that I had to take care of. I'll be there in a week or two!" He said with a smile.

And that instantly got a smile on my face as well. It's been so long since I last met Toptap. He lives with my parents. Even I was asked to move with them but I didn't want to. I wanted to continue living here.

I was doing my skincare when I saw Bright coming out of the bathroom.

He was wearing a black shirt and his wet hair were falling on his beautiful eyes. He smiled at me and I just smiled back.

Instantly I got reminded of Tu's birthday. I quickly texted her before making my way to the living room.

"Happiest Birthday Tu :) Wishing you a great year ahead! I'm really sorry for not being able to attend the party last night!"

I quickly combed my hair and made my way to the living room where Bright was wearing his shoes. I quickly wore mine and we made our way towards his car.
