Izuku's friends (paintball ball)

Invitation

Knuckles gently rapping against the sticker covered door of Mina's dorm room, Izuku silently prayed he didn't end up coming off as weird. The door opened to reveal literally every girl in class 1A. 

'Well shit, I didn't expect this to happen. What am I supposed to do now?!' Izuku thought

The girls stare at the frozen boy, all wondering the exact same thing.

"What do you need?" Tsu spoke up, a confused expression overtaking her face.

"U-um, well I came here t-to ask Mina if she wanted to come to this thing with me    b-but now it s-sounds kinda w-weird!" Izuku's wobbly voice swirled through the room, quiet, yet sounding loud in the silence.

"What thing? Now I'm kinda curious haha!" Bless Mina, she really didn't care that it sounded like Midoriya was asking her out. She was however a bit nervous because of what she heard him say over the phone earlier, that's the entire reason all the girls are in her room.

"P-paintball. My friends and I play it a lot during the weekends and one of them told me to bring someone for her to match her e-energy with." That was a total lie, but the girls didn't know that. 

A large Cheshire Cat grin spread across Mina's face, now she knows he isn't in a gang. But now she also knew he was playing wild games with a girl. Well, he didn't say a girl, but it was implied! And that was enough for our gossip queen Mina. 

"Sure! When and where!" The Alien happily cheeped, already thinking of any and all possibilities.

"I-I'll text you the d-details, I-I should go. ByE!" Voice crack completed, Izuku quickly scampered away, panicking because that went HORRIBLY. Mind running a mile a minute, he trekked down the stairs towards the common room.

Meanwhile with the girls

"I can't tell if he was asking you out on a date or genuinely inviting you for his friend"  Jiro commented. 

"I have a different thought in mind, get your popcorn!" Mina cheerfully squeaked.

"What?! Girl spill!" Hagakure insists.

"Okay, so basically I went to the kitchen and heard him arguing with someone over the phone and so I obviously hid around the corner and eavesdropped. He was all like 'If you keep trying to get me to come to another fight I will block you. I already attend one every week, I actually have to go to school and maintain friendships here and study unlike you!' And I was around the thinking 'oh shit, he's in a gang or something! That's why I dragged you girls here! To tell you that he's probs in a gang or something! And when he ended his phone call he saw me around the corner, so I'm guessing he was like 'oh fiddlesticks!' And just thought bringing me for his friend to match vibes with cuz I overheard him and his friend was probs nagging him for someone ✨as amazing as me✨" Mina blabbered on, loosely explaining what happened to the circle of girls.

The 1A girls collectively blinked in shock, Midoriya arguing with someone other than Bakugou? That was like seeing a Unicorn in a hot spring! 

"Sooo, now you're going to a paintball fight?" Uraraka questioned. 

"Yeah, I guess so." Mina shrugged as she spoke, carrying an uncaring attitude. With that all finished the girls 'slowly' transferring back to their usual chaos.

Meanwhile with our favourite sinnomon roll

Footsteps pattering agains the last steps of the stairs, Izuku stalked over to the couch that carried Bakugou and Kirishima who was once again attempting to hug the demon beside him. He plopped down on the couch only to be immediately shoved off my an angry Pomeranian. "Sigh, Kacchan please let me sit on the couch." Izuku gently pleaded.

"No you fucking nerd! Get the fuck away from me!"

Kirishima watched the two as one screamed, deciding to step in and distract the explosive dandelion.

"Bakubro, let's play super smash bros in my room. Bet 5 bucks I'll win!" Kirishima chirped, hoping his plan would work so the greenette could get a break. Surprise! Kirishima was successful because Bakugou is overly fucking competitive.

With the screaming dog finally gone Izuku could think about how the whole invitation thing went. He certainly didn't expect anyone other than Mina to be in the dorm room, but he hoped they didn't think he was asking he out. He thought of Mina as a friend and that's it, he really didn't want to accidentally mislead her. One problem, his friend (Lima) didn't ask that he bring anyone. Now he has to tell her he's bring someone AND he needs her to pretend she asked for him to bring someone to match her vibe. She was not gonna like this. She was also the only one who acted like Mina, so she was his only option.

Sighing at the phone call he now had to make to beg Lima, Izuku rose from the couch to retire to his room. He only ended up getting to chill for a couple minutes! Oh yeah, he also has to text the details to Mina. Walking up the stairs, Izuku thought of how he would convince Lima to pretend she asked for him to bring an energetic person. In all honesty, he really wished he had just never answered his phone and called her back later like he usually does. Then Mina would have never heard, he would have never had to ask Mina to come to paintball, and he would have never have been thinking about how much he regretted his decision. 

Almost at his room, he rounds the corner only to see...
