Izuku turned to the curry, taking a bite only to have the realization that Kacchan made the curry extremely delicious, and not spicy at all. It was sweet and had hints of sour hidden in it. There was an overlying savoury taste to it, all that combined to creat curry heaven. The small boy hummed in pleasure at the taste, complete focus on the taste. Unfortunately that meant he didn't notice Bakugou coming back into the kitchen and seeing him utterly blissed out at the taste of the food. Bakugou looked proud and smug, but he truly felt touched at how much Izuku enjoyed his food. He had made sure it wasn't spicy so the smaller boy could eat it without crying. The gesture was suggested by Kirishima, Bakugou only did it because Kirishima guilted the explosive boy with the fact that he made Izuku's life miserable for years, bullying him mercilessly.

Bakugou quickly grabbed his phone that he had left beside the sink, aiming to be unnoticed by the greenette. Bakugou was successful, heading over to his room once he got his phone.

Once Izuku had finished his food he headed to bed, he was pooped. But at least now  he had a belly full of warm food. Izuku fell asleep that night dreaming good things.

Next morning

Izuku woke up before his alarm by just a couple minutes, giving him time to shut it off before it went off, this resulted in him being in a much better mood than normal. And it was the weekend! Izuku quickly texted Aizawa asking if he knew if Snipe would be on campus today. Aizawa replied saying that he would most likely be hanging out with Cemetos in the teachers lounge around lunch. Izuku thanked his teacher, with the plan to head to Snipe later that day and agree to be his student. When lunch approached Izuku headed to teacher's lounge. He hoped Snipe would be there, it would be awkward if he wasn't. Luckily Snipe was there, sitting on the couch with coffee in hand, holding a casual conversation with Cemetos and Powerloader. Izuku gently knocked on the doorframe, gaining the attention of the teachers in the room. Snipe stood up, greeting Midoriya warmly.

"Um, c-can we talk o-outside?" Izuku preferred to be in the presence of Snipe without other teachers listening in to their conversation.

"Of course." Snipe immediately agreed, exiting the room and walking down the hallway just a bit.

"I a-agree. I want y-you to teach m-me what you k-know about guns." Izuku admitted.

Snipe smiled under his mask at the answer. Usually not many of the kids, if even any, were interested in guns and what they had to offer. It truly made him sad at the possibilities that were ignored.

They arranged to meet up after school on Tuesday and Thursday for lessons. Izuku was truly happy with how the exchange went, as was Snipe. Snipe had been worried that the kid would refuse the offer with how long he was taking to get back to him.

Izuku left the building, deciding to call Lima when he was back at the dorms. The call went well with Lima telling the occasional dad joke. After their call Izuku spent the rest of the weekend hanging out with friends and visiting his wonderful and beautiful mother.

Time skip to Monday!

Izuku's classes where going well and everything was normal until homeroom when Nezu walked in and spoke to Izuku loud enough for the entire class to hear, which was odd for Nezu. Not personality wise but it seemed off with what he said.

"Midoriya, your mother has just signed the forms for your resignation from UA. I would like you to pack your stuff up." Nezu spoke confidently, but something was off about the way he said everything. And Inko was supportive of Izuku's dream, she would never sign forms for him to resign from UA. Izuku knew Nezu had an intelligence quirk, the Chimera was also a bit of a trickster with sadistic tendencies much like Aizawa. Izuku understood what was happening. The principal was lying to him, fast thinking and theorizing in stressful situations was a part of hero work, and they took that test last week so Nezu was bound to see the results. Nezu was testing him to see if he could tell truth from lies.

"You're lying. Y-you're testing I-if I c-can tell t-truth a-apart from l-lies." Izuku was confident with his answer, but made sure his voice contradicted with his confidence, just to seem unsure, to seem dumber. Izuku knew he was smart, but the teachers from elementary school and middle school always marked his grades down. The would change his A's to D-'s. So why not embrace that a little bit. Izuku learned the hard way that you don't want to stand out. And being smart makes you stand out.

Nezu looked impressed at Izuku's response, but he looked pleased overall

"Midoriya, please join me in my office. I'd like to speak to you." Nezu's tone was menacing, as were his words. But Izuku felt at ease at the words, for seemingly no reason.

They arrived at Nezu's office, Nezu began to set up a chess game and some tea. Once he was finished he began talking.

"Midoriya, you're smart. As such, I'd like to make an offer.

That's it for this chapter! What do you think Nezu will offer? It's not to be his student,  it's something else. Comment what you think! The comments make me happy!
