What the girls got at the mall will be revealed near the end of the chapter, I did not forget about it. It's just at the dorms.

Once school ended Midoriya walked to the dorms alone, his friends had decided to stay at school a little longer to help cleanup the shooting range that had been set up. As he was walking along the sidewalk he was coming up on a tree that had beautiful emerald green leaves that swayed in the wind, as he stepped under the tree he was ambushed! By Lima! She leapt down from the tree, wrapping her arms and legs around Izuku's head. Her weight knocked him over with quite the tumble. Lima's back was the first thing to hit the concrete, cushioning Izuku. Lima regretted leaping on to him.

"Aaah! Who-! Lima?! Wha- why?!" Izuku was stumbling over his words out of pure confusion, he just wanted to go to his dorm, call his mom, watch Tv then go to bed. He was certainly not expecting for Lima to leap on to his head from a tree! Other people walking along the sidewalk gave them weird looks and sidestepped them or crossed the street even. 

"Chill~, I just wanted to see my buddy! We barely hangout outside of paintball and I missed you!" Lima chirped, all too casual about the fact that she had LEAPED ON TO HIS HEAD FROM A TREE!! "Come on, we're getting ice cream now!"

Izuku was so confused, they were going for ice cream now? What? 'I mean, ice cream does sound good but I'm not entirely sure how long I'll be help captive so the bestcourseofactionwouldbetotellherwhattimeimrequiredtobebackatthedormsfor.' Izuku mumble-thought. (Idk, I'm trying my best, I don't think this exists tho.) 

Lima dragged Izuku by the hand to her favorite ice cream shop. Once they arrived they talked, telling each other about the things that were happening in their lives. Izuku told Lima about Snipe's offer, she immediately insisted he accept. They finished their ice cream and walked around a park talking and joking around until the sun set. That was when Izuku realized he really needed to leave. He checked the time one to see it was 9:50 pm, curfew is 10:00 pm. He's screwed. By the time Izuku had realized the time they had already wandered about 30 minute away from the dorms by foot. 

Izuku quickly explained the situation to Lima, then left only to immediately break into a run in hopes of arriving there faster. He was gonna be late for curfew no matter what so might as well try to be less late.

When Izuku turned the corner to the dorms gates he saw a figure, the figure of Shota Aizawa. He was so screwed. He skidded to a stop about a foot away from a very angry Aizawa. 

"And where were you?" Aizawa spoke through his teeth, a harsh tone encasing his words like a cage.

"I didn't mean to be late for curfew! I promise! I only realized how late it was right before curfew and i couldn't get back in time where I was! It was an accident, it won't happen again!" Izuku pleaded for forgiveness, only for his pleas to be ignored by Aizawa and scolded while Aizawa walked him to the dorm building. His scolding got louder as they entered the building, echoing because of the walls. As soon as they entered Aizawa's scolding was heard and everyone quieted down and stared. It was like a little show! Sadly none of them had popcorn. In the midst of Aizawa's scolding a high pitched bark could be heard, a puppy's bark. It was a small black lab puppy with white paws and big golden eyes, it was wagging its tail quickly with its tongue sticking out panting. It wore a small amber collar. Midoriya's attention was stolen by the puppy with Aizawa still going on like background noise. Eventually Aizawa left and Midoriya was left to ask about the puppy. He didn't remember them having a puppy yesterday.

"U-um, where did this puppy come from?" Izuku spoke meekly, a little spooked after the scolding he got.

"Oh, the girls and I got her at the mall yesterday! Her name is Dorothy, like from the wizard of Oz! Her eyes reminded Tsu of the yellow brick road. I think you were in your room when we came back with her last night!" Mina happily informed Izuku of the how surrounding the puppy.

"Don't worry, we got permission from Aizawa and Kota." Hagakure joined the little chat, somehow knowing exactly what Midoriya was thinking about.

"Soooo, what was that all about? Why were you late for curfew?" Jiro nonchalantly questioned.

"O-oh! Well, um, so,....
