Chapter 34 : Chaotic Morning

Aethon, Nix, Iyasu and the cubs didn't seem to mind with Yuu's presence, only Otto would sometimes hiss and chatter noisily whenever the horse approaches me or Cara. How funny... the small critter is so protective of us. I sometimes forgot that it's not a mere pet. Regardless of Yuu's efforts, I still kept him in the dark, refusing to acknowledge him as my future mate yet treating him the same as I did with my other mates, all friendly and calling to eat together just minus the skinship, though every now and then it happened... unintentionally... while passing something to each other...

My guilty conscience kicked in for carefreely marking someone as my partner like some kind of a taste testing food festival, but my retarded brain insisted that it's not proper to just accept that person without filtering them out first! Rocco would occasionally drop by to send his courtship gifts... (which were mostly thrown away if Nix was around to witness it...) I give up on trying to reason with any of them by now, simply dismissing any disputes if it was too loud for my poor ears...

I refuse to go out after that incident. Only limiting myself to activities nearby the house. Most of the time I chose to laze around at home, letting myself be more like the other females... even rejecting my mate's offer of accompaniment to go to the market. The peaceful days didn't last long. Cino's panicked scream filled the entire house and woken up all of us. All of us gathered and were met with a scene of a chubby girl around the age of three to four years old curled up sleepily in a pile of furs in the cub's room.

"Cino, what happened? Otto...?"
Aethon was the first to arrive.

" . . . . . "
Cino just growled in bear noises while Otto chirped noisily.

"Okay... That's Caramel... Cino said she just poofed into that. He didn't know anything else. Otto also said the same."
Aethon explained to us.

"May I take a look?"
Iyasu asked for permission to check on Caramel.

"Yes. Go on."
Aethon gestured.

"Is something wrong with her? Don't they usually go through the phase slowly? Will she be alright? What should we do? There's still a lot of things we haven't done together... Oh my poor baby..."
I started to cry.

"Shhh, nothing is wrong with her. See, she's just sleeping. She doesn't look like she's in pain. Go get some more sleep. It's still early. I'll wake you up when breakfast is ready. Alright?"
Aethon pat my back and gently pushed me towards Nix.

"Rhea, go rest some more. I'll call you if there's anything..."
Iyasu commented with a smile.

"Lo...ve... is this really what you want...?"
A trembling voice tickled my ears.

" . . . . . "
No answer.

"Rhe...aaa..."
The voice barely a whisper.

" . . . . . "
Still no answer.

My eyes fluttered open as I felt my chest being fondled. At the same time, a warm breath was on the back of my neck... and the curve of my neck was nibbled on. Ahhh... this damn body must've moved on its own again... My body felt tingly and hot... And something warm and hard was pressing at the back of my butt, throbbing. I indulge myself in the sensations... enjoying the little nibbles on my neck, clenching the hands that were still fondling my breasts... Ahhh... when was the last time I had it.... this is bad...
