The sun streams in through the balcony doors but that isn't what woke me up. Another set of sharp knocks pulls me out of my sleep filled daze. I stumble out of bed and past Mina who groans and pulls her pillow over her head. When I open the door, Bakugou is standing there, eyes sharp and annoyed.

"I told you not to slow me down," he says looking down at my pajamas and back up to my messy hair.

"You didn't say you were going to the store at the ass crack of dawn," I yawn. Bakugou is dressed and ready to go, his hair damp, like he just showered.

"You coming or not? I'm not waiting all day for the stores to get crowded.

"Yeah, God, give me a moment to change. You're lucky I'm not grouchy since I haven't had any coffee."

I slip back into my room and pull my suitcase up on the bed. Mina groans again and I roll my eyes. She's never been a morning person. I quickly pull out one of my white sundresses and run a brush through my hair. I slip on a wide brim straw hat and my sandals before rushing out of the room and down the stairs. Bakugou is sitting on the couch reading something on his phone. He chews his lip as he reads.

"Ready," I sing as I wait by the door. He looks up at me and nods once pocketing his phone.

Bakugou walks over and holds the door open for me as I exit the beach house. It's a lovely house. Muted blue walls on the outside and large windows everywhere to let in the light and the view of the ocean. On the main floor is the living room, dining room, kitchen, and a bathroom that has a door to the back porch. Upstairs there are four rooms. Two sit on the back of the house and overlook the beach. They have a connecting balcony. Mina and I are in one while Bakugou and Kirishima are in the other. In the third room is Kaminari and Sero. Mina said she's leaving the last room for two of their friends who are going to visit, Jiro and Ochaco. The entire home is airy and light. The colors are nice and pastel and its moderately decorated like it belongs in a magazine.

Bakugou and I fall into step with each other silently. If he's angry I wasn't up on time he doesn't say so. He pulls a paper list out of his pocket as we near the store and I snag it out of his hand. He frowns but doesn't say anything as I read over the list. It's pretty basic. Vegetables, noodles, rice, and a few snack items. The entire list is broken down by section and is probably the most organized shopping list I've ever seen. I hand the list back to him, but he pushes my hand back towards me. As we enter the store Bakugou picks up a basket and we begin walking to the produce section.

"You're in charge of the list," he says as he pulls a black pen out of his pocket. I nod and read off a few items and mark them off as he chooses the best of the best just like he said he would.

"Oh, can we get strawberries?" I ask and he looks down at me with furrowed brows, "Please, please, please. We can make strawberry short cake."

"Strawberry short cake?" he asks, and I nod.

"It's my favorite."

He sighs but nods, "Go pick some out."

"Yay! Thank you, Bakugou!" He adds the things we need to make the dessert to the list, and we continue on our way.

"Yeah. We'll make it later," he says.

"We?"

"Yes, we, short stack. I don't need you burning the kitchen down."

"I know how to cook!" I fuss.

"Katsuki?" a woman calls out and Bakugou goes stiff. He turns slowly and I peek behind us. A woman with the same ash blonde hair is standing nearby hands on her hip's; basket discarded on the ground. She's so obviously his mother it's ridiculous.
