I stand in front of the floor length mirror that is attached to the back of the bathroom door. Carefully I pull my hair up and back turning my head from side to side before dropping the brown strands with a huff. I don't know what he sees in her.
I mean it's obvious that my Suki has his eyes on this new girl. Like, who even is she? She obviously isn't a hero like us. She seems so... ordinary, and it pisses me off that he can't seem to take his eyes off of her. Even now after we shared a very passionate night together, I still catch him looking at her with those stupid soft eyes. He's never looked at me that way before.
I turn in the mirror checking my outfit from the back. It's not the best but not the worst. Old jeans that I cut too short into shorts so you can see the pockets and a pink bikini top. I don't even know if were going down to the water today but maybe I can convince Katsuki to come with me. And then maybe I can convince him to take me shopping. I'll only be here for a few more days. It irritates me that I'm going to be leaving him alone with her but what can I do? I have an internship that I can't drop from.
I step out the bathroom into the silent house. Its honestly kind of cheesy. It's decorated like it belongs in one of those home improvement magazines you set out on your coffee table but never open. I would have preferred a hotel or something. Maybe something with room service? I step down into the kitchen and smile
"Katsuki!" I sing as I wrap my arms around him. He has his back turned as he focuses on making breakfast.
"Hi," he says gruffly, and I squeeze him before letting go and hopping up on the counter. He glances at me out the corner of his eye and I lean forward more pushing my chest out and swinging my legs. If there is one think I know he can't resist, its sex. The man has a weakness, and I may exploit it just a little.
"I was thinking, maybe we can go into town today. I'm only here for a few more days and I'd like to get some souvenirs for everyone back at home," I say, and he shrugs.
"Morning." She walks in the room, and I sigh. She doesn't even really acknowledge us besides her hello as she walks right over to the coffee pot and begins to brew some for herself. She works on autopilot and it's slightly commendable. I roll my eyes when I look over at Katsuki who has his eyes one her fully watching her every move.
"She didn't choose you," I hiss under my breath. Katsuki's cold eyes find mine with a glare that could freeze hell over.
He ignores me as she makes her coffee and heads into the living room with everyone else. Finally, once she's gone, he mutters, "we can go shopping today. I'd like to get out the house."
"I'd like to get you out of the house too," I joke, "you look like a kicked puppy the way you keep staring at her."
"I am not acting like that," he drones.
"You kinda are," I shrug.
After breakfast I pull a tank top on and drag Katsuki towards the front door.
"You're going out?" She asks and I roll my eyes before turning to her.
"Yes. We are. A date."
"Oh. Have fun. We're having another bonfire tonight, just FYI."
"We'll be there," Katsuki says before I have the chance to decline. I don't want to sit around a bonfire with them. So boring. If things keep going like this, I can't wait to get back to the city.
"Yeah," I chirp in my best cheerful voice, "we'll see!"
I pull Katsuki out of the house, and he stuffs his hands in his pockets instead of holding my hand. Not that I mind. His quirk makes him sweat, and I hate the smell sticking to my skin. The town is a tiny tourist town. A few local shops with handmade goods, a few food stalls, and a few stores dedicated to beach supplies.
