I entered the big lone cabin for which I had been staying for the past month and a half. I had dropped off the face of the earth after some news that had literally changed my life.... So I took off for the outskirts of Montana. I am still considered a guardian, but with everything that's going on with me, I may not be a guardian... Which is something that torments me day in and day out. Being a guardian was everything to me.

The sound of the door opening deterred me from my thoughts as I looked up into my mother's eyes. "Hey, Sweetheart. "

"Hey, Momma." I said and walked over to my room. Momma knew what was going on, but that was about it. She looked pretty today, not so worn out from taking care of me. Which she has been doing for about two weeks now.

"Did you go see the doc?" She asked.

I nodded."Yeah.. They did some blood tests and are waiting on the reports. It takes about a good two months."

"I hope everything goes well."

I nodded, and I felt unsure of it. "Yeah. Me too. I don't know what's gonna happen if it comes back and gives us bad news..."I said sadly and immediately tried to find a new topic. It was too heartbreaking for me to think about. When I'd learned about it, I'd locked myself in my room at the Academy and wouldn't even talk to Lissa about it. Turns out I'd been doing it now for two while months. I sighed and told my mom,"I think I am just going to go lay down for a whole. If you're going to cook, wake me up when you're done."
My mother nodded, and I went up to my room falling asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

I woke up two hours later and smelled bacon and pancakes. I smiled and got up. As I did, I felt the urge to puke, but stuffed it down immediately as I made the journey to the kitchen. When I got there, I took in the area: white cabinets and black smooth marble counter tops with a black dining table that could be considered the smallest sizes of tables to be ever created. I sat down in the silver chairs, and my Mom had me a plate already set out. I dived in devouring everything on it.

"Slow down, little one, or you might choke on the bacon," which were very crispy just the way I liked them. I swallowed it all down with a glass of orange juice. I watched my mother but felt the urge to puke again. The only thing about me was that damn feeling - which only happened at least once a month.. This had happened twice now.

"Sweetie, are you okay?" My mother asked me as I pushed back from the table. There was no denying it now. I was going to blow chunks. I ran for the nearest bathroom- which happens to be at least a good way of a walk. But I was running towards it, so it took ten times that. I got to the toilet and puked up a bright red.

I heard my mother's concerned voice from the hall, but I simply ignored it. I got up from the crouching position and went to get a napkin so I could wipe my mouth.

I came back out, and my mother was in tears. "Mom, I'm fine." I said and went past her, throwing the napkin in the waste basket that sat by the living room. I turned back around to her and said,"Mom, I am going to bed. I love you." I hugged her and felt her arms shake as she held me. "Mom." I said as I pulled back. "It's going to be alright. Everything is going to work itself out. I promise." I reassured her. She nodded and let me leave to my room.
