"This is crazy." I chuckled into my hand as I leaned into Peyton. I don't know how I've never payed attention to the annual boy toy auction before. This was definitely something else.
Of course I only wanted to 'buy' one boy but to see boys be treated like objects, how they treat girls, was pretty refreshing.

"Who are you gonna bid on?" I question Peyton as she stared up on the stage. "I think Jake." She smiled, turning to me. "Babydaddy?" I hummed, nodding my head. "Yeah, I support that. You guys would be cute." I bumped my hip into hers as her cheeks started to turn a rosy red. I gasped.
"Is Peyton Sawyer blushing?" I teased, making her quickly look away. "Oh god, stop."

I chuckled, leaving it at that. "What about you? You ready to fight off these rabid skanks for Nathan?" She questioned as she glanced around the room. There was still a lot of girls piled around for only four boys left to be auctioned.
"Well all these girls know we're dating, they won't go for him." I nervously chuckled as I turned to her for reassurance. "Righttt." She dragged out, definitely not convincing. "Wait what?"

"Yeah, they know you're dating that's why they're definitely going to bid on him. It's a free kiss pass." She reminded me, making my stomach drop. "Crap." She had a point. Who am I kidding, he's Nathan Scott, of course everyone is going to bid for him. "I was going to bet on Lucas." I explained as I glanced down into my wallet, I definitely didn't have enough for both of them.
"Switching Scott brothers again?" She teased, making my jaw drop.

"No. I just know it's been hard on both Lucas and I, we never see each other anymore." I pointed out, making her nod. "Well you have a big choice." She winced, making me sigh. "I trust Nathan." I reminded myself out loud, making Peyton chuckle. "Must be nice, I never could." She joked, making me slap her arm before Tim dramatically made his appearance onto the stage.

"Eight dollars?" Deb bid from the crowd, making a loud laugh leave Peyton and i's lips as we leaned into each other. "Poor Tim." She chuckled. The last guy went for eighty-five bucks. But who am I kidding, it's Tim. He walked off the stage with just as much energy as he walked onto it.
"Babydaddy's next. What're you bidding?" I questioned Peyton as she held up her wallet, a smile taking over her face. "Eighty-seven dollars and fifty-three cents." She answered before he stepped out in the team mascot costume.

"Sounds like you have just as much competition as me." I joked as the crowd went wild for him.
He was cute and mysterious, of course girls were going wild for him. Peyton was the first to bid, a twenty. But just as fast it jumped to thirty. Once more and more clothes started to disappear it kept jumping. Forty, Fifty, Seventy-Five. Peyton turned to me with worried eyes. "Don't look at me, get your boy! Bid it all." I gestured.

"Eighty-Seven dollars and Fifty-Three cents!" She called out to Whitey. I patted her shoulder as he raised the gavel to end the bid. "One hundred dollars!" Came from the crowd, making our eyes pop. "Who's bidding that much on Jake?" I furrowed my brows. Like I said he was cute but I didn't think he was $100-a-date cute. "Sold!" Whitey called out, making our shoulders drop.
"Damnit, sorry Peyton." I gave her a sad smile as she shrugged. "It's alright, here comes your boy."
