(Still HerobrineThe2nd's POV:)
We thanked SparkHearth, then left. Endy seemed suspicious about SparkHearth and asked, "you guys don't trust her either, do you? She was just...now, I'm not saying this just because she's a witch, but I don't trust her. You guys saw how mad she was when we wouldn't pay over a stack."
I nodded. "I agree, Endy. I know she did something to these eggs, so Notch and Herobrine have mercy on them all, poor things. They're just innocent little eggs, not even born yet. I knew i couldn't let her get away with whatever she did."

Chris and Maybelle both looked at me and their eyebrows raised at least two inches higher than they should be.
I grinned and nodded as I said, "you saw me smiling about my...'Jump Boost' potion?"
Now Scorch and Endy's turn to be surprised came, picking up on the tone of my voice.

I began to explain, "yeah, that's why I was taking so long this morning, sorry about that. I knew any witch we talked to might try to outsmart us, so I thought ahead. I made two green potions-one was actually jump boost, and the other..."
I was cut off by a scream of pain pretty far behind us, and a witch, I think SparkHearth, screamed, "my head! My HEAD!"

"I used an anvil to rename it, but it was a potion of poison,"I finished.
I then added, "don't worry, she'll survive, it just gave her very mild food poisoning and nausea...for about three hours."

My friends were all silent for a moment, then Endy said, "well, I know that wasn't right, and I shouldn't laugh, but..."
He burst out laughing, and we all started laughing as well.

Chris smirked a tiny bit as he said, "serves her right, she did something to those eggs."
We calmed down now, and resumed walking. We soon reached our village and ended up going to Endy's place. Endy said, "ok, guys, can you just wait out here for a minute? I'll talk to my folks about a sleepover."
We all nodded and waited for a few minutes, and Endy came back out almost immediately, smiling.
"My mom's more than happy to host, she just needs ten minutes. Enough time for you guys to check with your parents, right?"
The others agreed and left for their houses, then Endy asked me, "Hero, I can wait out here with you."
I said, "I don't have a problem with me waiting, Endy, you can go ahead inside. I can wait out here, it's fine."
Endy grinned and shook his head as he said, "I don't believe I'm going to give you a choice," and he sat down next to me on a bench facing the street.

We both looked up at the sky, the stars now twinkling brightly, and I asked, "remember what happened the last time we were stargazing?"
Endy nodded, slightly grim for a moment. "Yeah, those players...burned down the town... I just have to remember not to think of all players like that."
"Yeah, sometimes I kind of wonder what happened to them... Notch would make certain those players never do that again if was a Village, so I'm sure my dad did the same. But, there was Blade...he didn't burn the village down."

Endy asked, "wait, who? Which one was Blade?"
I replied, "I think he was like the 'leader' of the group of boys. He ran from us too, but I think he trusted me when I told him we were safe before he ran off with his friends."
"Hmm," was Endy's only response, with an emotion I couldn't place.

I looked up at the night sky, saw two side-by-side stars, and asked, "hey, Endy? Can I ask you a pretty personal question?
Endy replied, "sure, of course. What is it?"
I asked, "do you have any relationship with someone in your family that seems like, almost disconnected or something?"
He thought for a moment, then slowly nodded a bit. "Yeah... With my dad... He... passed away." I already felt terrible for making Endy think of something like that.
I said, "I'm so sorry Endy, you don't have to tell me anything you don't want to think of."
Endy smiled softly and said, "no, it's fine. It honestly feels good to tell people. He was a great warrior, one of the best in the army that he served. Herobrine himself knew him personally, as he led the army, and he was quite fond of my dad. I don't actually know who they fought, I was too young to understand. I was still only two blocks tall."
I fake-glared at the joke he made about my height, and he laughed a little.
"My dad was facing off with the head of the other army, and winning. Sadly, though, my father's greatest strength wasn't weaponry, it was his heart. He heard Herobrine shout not far from him, trying to be pinned to the ground by a wave of players who didn't know the truth about him. My dad teleported over, saved Herobrine, and was about to teleport back to his opponent, when he realized his opponent was right behind him, and he poured a bucket of water onto my father... I don't think I need to say more."
"I'm really sorry Endy. It can be hard sometimes for me to not see my dad all the time, but... not having one at all..."
"Hey, it's ok, Hero," Endy assured me, with his hand on my shoulder, "come on, don't start crying, you'll hurt yourself."
I was about to say I wasn't, then realized I was tearing up a little. I quickly blinked the tears away.

Endy smiled and said, "hey, cheer up, we're all here tonight to hang out and have fun."
I smiled back, a little happier now-Just in time, too, the others were back.

(Scorch's POV:)
"We're all ready!" I cheerfully shouted coming up the street.
Chris and Maybelle were in spirits just as high as my own, too. Maybelle had actually been singing a little of the way to Endy's place, and Chris had joined in! So, of course I had to also.

Endy grinned and said, "alright, great guys! Come on in, my mom should be ready." So, with all of us carrying our stuff except Hero and Endy, who each carried two or three of the dragon eggs, we went inside. We were all greeted by a large shadowy figure in the doorway, with glowing purple eyes staring down at all of us.
