(Maybelle's POV:)
"Good evening, Mrs. Portul! How are you?" I cheerfully asked Endy's mom.
The Enderwoman smiled kindly down at us all and greeted us, "oh, hello, everyone! I'm having a lovely evening, thank you! Come in, make yourselves at home. You're always welcome in here."
We all thanked her and went inside, and Endy looked over his shoulder and said with a big smile on his face, "alright, guys, you wanna go upstairs to my room? We can hang out there."
We all agreed with huge smiles on our faces as well, and rushed up the stairs after Endy, who lead the way to his room. We all walked down the upstairs hallway, and I was grateful that there were all double doors, so I could fit through them when we reached Endy's room.

Endy rearranged some chairs in his room, then smiled as he motioned for us all to sit down too. We all did, glad to finally rest our legs-or in Scorch's case, his Rods. Eh, same idea. I quit thinking about this when Endy cleared his throat to say something about the eggs.

(Endy's POV:)

"You know, I had an idea about the eggs-well, about what SparkHearth did to them. You know how some mobs aren't hostile until provoked, like wild wolves?" They all nodded. "Well," I continued, "even one punch is all it takes, then the mobs become hostile. I'm afraid SparkHearth may have hurt the eggs..."

HerobrineThe2nd's eyes widened, and looked down at the eggs we had placed on the ground. Then she sighed with relief.
"Whew, sorry. I thought I saw one of the eggs shake." She blushed a little, and scratched the back of her neck-I couldn't lie, it was cute.
"Nah, it's fine, Hero. We'd rather think falsely than not be ready for when it actually happens. Speaking of that, do you guys have any ideas about where we could keep the eggs before and after they hatch?"

We all thought for a moment, not sure what to do. Hero suddenly suggested, "should we all just stay with the eggs until they hatch, then we all let all the baby dragons choose which of us is their bond? Then we can each take the dragon we're bonded to home."
I told HerobrineThe2nd, "Hero, that sounds great, but how long does it take for an egg to hatch, anyone know?"
None of us did.
I thought about it and said, "I think it's around one or two days? I think we could pull that off, am I right, guys?" I asked with a joking grin:a little inside joke was that our record time for hanging out together is a full week, this including sleeping over during the nights we spent together. Yeah, we're all a nice, close group of friends.

Chris spoke up, "well, that's fine with me, but I know we need to get something to keep the eggs warm, and if what we're guessing about SparkHearth is true, I think we'll need milk for the newborns to soothe them."

We all looked at Chris for a moment, surprised he knew all about this kind of care for animals.
Maybelle asked, "Chris, where did you learn so much about caring for baby animals?"
Chris shrugged and replied, "I'm gonna guess from my mom, she's a veterinarian, and she's good at her job. It comes in handy that you can sneeze gunpowder when you want to make a splash potion a healing." We all laughed a little at his joke.

Chris grinned as he started digging around his bag he had brought as he said, "good thing I always have something mechanical with me," and he brought out five redstone samples and a block of redstone.
"Chris," I asked, "can we not put this right in my room?"
"Oh, yeah. Sorry!" Chris said and turned a darker green and let out a nervous laugh as he dismantled what he had been building.
We all started laughing at this, the sound filling the house. I offered, "how about we set that up outside, Chris?"

So we all got up again, and I led the way to my huge backyard that only ended when it met the border of the woods, and we were still allowed in there, it was basically a community park everyone was welcome.

I teleported over to the nearest tree and took it apart block by block, then asked, "hey, Hero, can you help me make some fences?"
She nodded and walked over, making a crafting table and placing that by my backdoor, then took just a matter of moments to craft some wooden fencing.
"Oh, this reminds me! Guys, what about we build our dragons a stable...As an addition to our old hideout!"
All of us looked over to Hero, and grinned widely. Now that I thought about the old place, I realized how much I missed it.

We had built a fun little hideout in the woods near our old village, the one the players burned down. We usually hung out there instead of taking walks around our old village-our last was really out in the open. Even if players can't see our village, they can see the mobs inside of it.

Hero and I would each teleport half of our friends there and we'd always have a great time, until we had to come home. We still both knew the coordinates, so it wasn't a problem as I took Chris and Scorch with me and HerobrineThe2nd took Maybelle. We all ended up in the front of our hideout, still in great shape since we left it. The nether brick fence around the place still held strong, too. Good. Chris walked right inside and asked, "so, we should get building soon, the eggs will get cold if we wait too long."
We nodded and got straight to work. Chris started reconstructing whatever he was doing with just a block of redstone and some trails of it. Scorch started extending the fence we had used, since for some reason, he always had nether-themed building material handy. HerobrineThe2nd ran inside and started to clean the place up, since it had been awhile from the last time we hung out here. Maybelle was helping Chris by putting the dragon eggs down where he instructed-I guess the active redstone produced enough heat for the eggs. I remembered my mom and teleported back to her quickly, told her we weren't going to be at the house for awhile, then teleported back to see the surprisingly progressive advance we had made.

I grinned and started to build the fireproof, stone, will-be extension of our base, the stables, as I announced to everyone, "well, I think this is going great so far. Keep up the good work, guys."
