(HerobrineThe2nd's POV:)
Morning came soon enough, and we all awoke in good spirits. I yawned, and heard movement of some sort on the other side of the tent. I smiled, seeing the sun rise over the grass as soon as I sat up. I stretched and smiled as I yawned out, "morning, Endy."Then I gasped when I turned my head to face him-because the other person in the tent wasn't Endy.
I jumped up, and shouted, "what the heck!?"
The boy turned, and I saw his shockingly familiar face.
"Blade," I breathed out.
Blade looked at me, and pulled out his sword, which he stuck in the ground next to him, and he leaned on it.
"Well, well, well. I was wondering what could've possibly been scary enough that made the guys actually smart enough to run. Herobrine's descendant was enough, I guess."He grinned and asked, "so, how have you been doing, HerobrineThe2nd?"
"Fine, I guess. Outsmarted a coven witch not too long ago, I was helped by my father to build an entire mob town, and we were interrupted last night by your friends...So, pretty much the usual," I joked.
Blade chuckled and said, "well, sorry to meet up again when it was in a situation like this. I've been following those guys since, making sure they don't do something like...what they did...ever again. But it's good to see you, HerobrineThe2nd."
I smiled and shrugged as I said, "you can call me Hero if you want."
He grinned and replied, "ok, I'm good with that. By the way, your friends are waiting for you outside. It took quite a bit of convincing for me to persuade them I wasn't going to give any of you guys trouble. Do mobs forget anything? They remembered me on sight."
I grinned too and said, "first off, mobs can forget, but all mobs have memories like steel traps. It's extremely rare to forget anything. Secondly, if all of my friends are waiting, what are we still doing in here?"
Blade laughed and we walked outside. My friends all turned when they heard us come out and smiled.
"Morning, Hero!" said a cheerful Endy. He was by a campfire and was was cooking a chicken over it.
I raised an eyebrow at him and asked, "Endy? Are you feeling ok? You're eating meat?"
"Huh? Oh, no, no!" Endy laughed and explained, "I'm just making this for everyone else, I already had some bread."
"Ah, ok. That makes a lot more sense," I replied. Endy is vegetarian, but not a Vegan-its almost dangerous to be one, because milk is often needed when handling potions.Chris said, "well, you don't need to make anything for me, I just finished some melon."
We all looked at Chris for a minute, and he looked back and said, "what? What's so wrong with eating melon?"
Nobody said anything for a moment, then Chris's stomach rumbled.
We all started laughing, and Maybelle answered Chris's question, "that's what is so wrong with just eating melon."
Scorch commented, "yeah, if I use melon, I'd use it in a recipe, but I'd use at least an entire one just to make sure it's filling."Blade looked over at Scorch, for some reason, thoroughly confused. "I thought melon can't be used in crafting or cooking."
I sighed, and shook my head. I explained to Blade, "players really don't know more than mobs do-mobs were here first actually, and had more time to learn Minecraft's secrets-we know how this game of life works."
Blade nodded, slight respect for us shining in his eyes. "So," he asked, "is there absolutely no chance you're all willing to teach me those secrets?"
We all grinned and laughed at that, and Endy said, "yeah, no way. You're lucky to not be on fire, blown into the air fifty blocks, poised, or being punched to death with a fist."
Blade laughed when he saw Endy was smiling. I was glad everyone was getting along so well, and I smiled as well.
Maybelle suddenly shouted, "wait, guys? Where did the dragons all go?!"
Our eyes all widened, and our heads turned in sync to see that all of our dragons were, indeed, gone.
